In all seriousness, doesn’t this immediately drop him down your board until at least 25ish? How do you take a guy mid-1st round who won’t compete?

I really don't know how this is going to affect his pushing off the DB ability without full strength in his ankle.

I wouldn't use the Combine for more than interviews and measurements, and I wouldn't take any weight seriously until I see him workout at that weight (to judge the weight, not the player).

With today's technology you can get a better read on a player off game film, acceleration, separation, power, etc.

These players all prepare for workouts, so what you're finding out is how well they train, not how athletic they actually are.

Now as fans, all we have are the workouts, since film derived measurements aren't commonly available.

Because that would mean possibly passing on guys like Chase and DeVonta, both of whom skipped "competing" at the combine.

I only pray that Drake London gets drafted top 10, by anyone other than the Eagles.

I don't think any position should be off of their board and Burks has value in the first round.

At 100%, he didn’t want to be the news at the combine running a high 4.6-4.7, so that ankle injury is paying draft dividends, lol.
By the time his pro day gets here, London will have proof, Ancestry.com will show he’s actually Cooper Kupps 2nd cousin.

Nice

Interesting.  What they can learn from a player shooting FT?

My first thought is it is a way to get them to relax a bit.  Try minimize any possible interview tension.  That is if it is towards the beginning of the interview.  Or maybe they are all laying bets on each shooter as a way to make boring interviews more interesting.

Only WR I'd be ok drafting in RD1 is Burks. At least swing for top 5 WR upside.

To a point, everyone gets wood when they see Tariq Woolen’s height, but forget the moronic idea that brought Nnamdi Asomugha to the Eagles dream team to play zone.  Not every 6’2”-6’3” CB is Richard Sherman and can be effective in zone coverage.
Watching their hips, and feet in the cone drills can make a difference on how you see a corner make a change of direction, and is it smooth, things like that you don’t always see on tape.

Not many know how to do that these days.

Taken out of context, this post could be interpreted much differently.

Dane Brugler now has Trent McDuffie ahead of both Gardner & Stingley. 🧐

Duffie should have a good workout, so he may actually be BPA at 15.

How much do you like him and where do you think he'll go in the draft?

Hands down my favorite WO , 15 to 20 area . He has it all , size , speed , hands . Some WOs I like later on in draft

Danny Gray

Ezukanma

Drummond

Tolbert

Chase and Devonta wrecked the SEC. Different measuring stick.

I want zero part of PAC 12 players who don't participate in every evaluation possible.

Adjust the ranks.

His teammate isn’t a slouch, is bigger and might be faster, Kyler Gordon CB.  He’s projected as a 3rd round pick before the combine, after, he may move up up to high 2nd round.
One thing about this class of CB’s, except for Stingley and he isn’t terrible, they can tackle.  Gordon runs thru RB’s, probably even more than Booth.

He had some attitude issues in the past and only throwing at his Pro Day means it needs to be a perfect one, the rest, Howell, Pickett, Willis, Ridder, Strong, Zappe, Senior Bowl and the East West Shrine QB’s will have three chances to show NFL coaches what they can do.

Only if Gus Johnson calls every Eagles game.

They did?  In what way?

Last year's draft was probably the best in a few years.  If RPS is what it took, then let's do it!  I'm sure the basketball is the same thing - how competitive are you?

I really don't like that we are talking to the QB prospects.  You think this is a smokescreen or are we legit interested in a QB?

Also Jameson Williams, Justyn Ross, Skyy Moore, Drake London
