I really don't like that we are talking to the QB prospects.  You think this is a smokescreen or are we legit interested in a QB?

Why do you not like it? They are just talking.

Maybe they are heavy petting as well. We don't know

Skyy Moore saw how popular Zelenskyy is right now and decided to add an extra 'y' to his name.

We are legit interested in a QB.  The one we have was a 3rd round prospect drafted in the 2nd round.  To assert none of these QB prospects would be an upgrade is .... "folly"

Howie looking supremely confident at the podium.

Trader Howie = confident

Draft Howie = subdued

Last time I saw Howie this confident was the "pepperoni pizza or sausage" press conference right after the #2 pick trade in 2016. Watson trade confirmed.

My biggest takeaway is how pissed Howie is about Brandon Brown going to the Giants.

Howie and Nick speak to the media yet or is that later today?

I think this is due diligence and information gathering.  I think they want to know the prospects and I think they want to know who else is talking to them.

Howie already spoke and made it clear that Hurts is QB1.

Nick Sirianni confirmed that Hurts is indeed tough and competitive and a leader fwiw

He had some attitude issues in the past and only throwing at his Pro Day means it needs to be a perfect one, the rest, Howell, Pickett, Willis, Ridder, Strong, Zappe, Senior Bowl and the East West Shrine QB’s will have three chances to show NFL coaches what they can do.

I don't think any of them really looked that great so he just needs to look better than they have looked.

Never been more confident Eagles trading for a QB. March-April is gonna be a wild ride.

In fairness -- "there's no doubt about it" could mean yes or no.

Sounds like the perfect excuse to keep ignoring linebacker.

Of course Hurts is still their QB. Until he isn't.

Btw if you think a GM or coach are going to reveal their cards

Like 3 days before James Harden was traded, Steve Nash "James Harden isn't getting traded. He wants to be here."

And the Eagles are meeting with every QB in the draft.

It's been obvious if you look at their actions rather than listen to their words they want a QB upgrade. Now whether or not they're able to land one via trade is another story, but they are going to try.

I think something that has led to the Steelers success  is that ownership decided a long time ago they were going to be a 34 defense and have stuck to it.

Avoids having to change scheme to fit players or players to fit scheme.

I suppose it helps when one only has 3 coaches in the last 50 years as well🤷‍♂️
