Might have been that scumball in the DC area that trademarked a whole bunch of names that the WFT might want. Try to sell the rights to the name WFT wants for $$$$.

People have to understand, drafting the QB position is a matter of economics in a hard cap, QB-driven NFL. Are Pickett, Corral, and Willis "good enough” to be top 10 prospects? Likely not, but it’s a fact that the teams currently drafting at #5 through 9 have QBs who aren’t good enough to win with. QB salaries keep climbing at an incremental rate, even faster than other positions. Good luck signing a starting-caliber QB for less than a $30M cap hit. Meanwhile, the rookie-level contracts are set by the collective agreement. Justin Herbert is drafted #6 overall and he’s under contract for 4 years at $6.65M per season. Mac Jones got drafted #15 overall and he’s under contract for 4 years at $3.9M per season. It makes financial sense to draft a QB even if you think he’s a year away from starting — if you think there’s any CHANCE he can develop into your QB of the future. After this season is over Hurts will be asking for a pay raise, just like Kyler Murray is now. Murray likely wants $40M+ per season because he thinks the team got to 11 wins just because he walked into the building. How much do you think Hurts will be demanding? I’m not high on Willis as a prospect but if my choices are to draft him at pay him $5M per season for 4 years, or sign Hurts to an extension in the $25-30M range (minimum asking price) — guess which option I’m going with.

Maybe you never read my thoughts on being a real QB factory drafting a QB every year. somehere in the 3rd to 6th round to increase your chances every year of gaining a good QB at a cheap price. I never want to pay a QB 40 mill a year. Ive also said I just have a gut feeling Pickett will be an Eagle. I just hope the cost wont be too high to get him. I dont think hes worth a top pick but in todays NFL it will be the case. We just have to pray somehow others bump him back to make it cheaper for us.

Willis isn't a plug and play solution, so drafting him top 10 puts a ton of pressure for him to play immediately and that would likely be disastrous for his development. A team like Carolina would be better served trading back and spending that pick later on a QB to help also improve other areas. If these teams are true to the talent, and not get swept up in desperation, at least 2 of Pickett, Corral and Willis will slip to the teens, if not further. And they'd likely be better off spending a 2nd rounder on Ridder or Strong than any of those 3 in Round 1.
March 5, 20223 yr Hutchinson having a smaller wingspan and arms than Karlaftis is interesting. As evident, Walker has the best prototype DE profile.

March 5, 20223 yr I was adamant that Kayvon should go before Walker, no so sure now. Depending on how today goes, same might apply for Hutch, his measurables are not impressive at all.
