Assuming Hutchinson, Thibs, Walker are gone… the next four DEs are (in some way order) Johnson, Ojabo, Karlaftis and Moye.

Who are the next 4-5?

Do you consider Hall a DE? If so, him

Real drop off after that to tier three…

Good film too. Will he be there when we pick in round 2?

He’s a DE in the same sense that Milton Williams plays DE for us. I’d prefer a true edge so I didn’t count him.

Not at 51.

Man let there be a run at QB.

I'd sprint to the podium for the best edge rusher that falls.

Free agency only a week and a half away.  I wonder if we see a flurry of Howie kick the can down the road type deals this week in preparation to free up cap space.

Fair enough.

Darius Slay

Fletcher Cox maybe

I could be off on Hall. He’s more of a DE than Milton Williams is, but he’s more of a tweener than I prefer.

There will be a really good DE when we pick in round 1. We have to take one. The drop off is too much to round 2.

I just hope one of Ojabo or Johnson is there at 15/16, and we take one of them.

Wow, Linderbaum has barely longer arms than Joey Hunt and people wanted him in the 1st.

Linderbaum...

More like Limbs-aren't-long 🤣

They can’t really kick the can down with anyone without extending them. Hargrave would make the most sense. Cox is pretty much tapped out and Slay can be extended but I wouldn’t want to.

A lot of talent that needs to be restocked; too much for one offseason to deal with everything.  They will have to stick to their philosophy and find the spots where value meets need.

If it’s me, I’m making sure of a DE and CB in Round 1.  If they keep the third pick in Round 1 it will be the BPA at their slot (likely IOL or S).  I think there will still be a very good LB like Harris or Muma there in Round 2 at #51.  Get a FA WR, then add a big WR at #83.

Don’t sleep on Leo Chenal either. Great tape and performed very well at the combine. Side note…I think my dream of Alec Pierce being available at 83 is officially dead in the water and will go in R2 after this weekend.

Agility scores were average.

There's still a chance.

Possible. But I think that 60-70 range is where he falls. That 40.5” vert and almost 11’ broad jump helped him. He’s not a crisp route runner, he does tend to round off so I wasn’t surprised by his agility drills…but that’s coachable. A 40.5” vert isn’t.

You're right. I'm just trying to convince myself he's there RD3. Think he's exactly what this offense is missing. Pairing him with Smith and Watkins would be awesome. But I have many targets ahead of him at other positions in RD2. Which means Howie has even more.

That Penn State S&C coach is underpaid.

Seriously how does Penn St always have such remarkable athletes every year

I thought that was going to be Lane Johnson.

Goedert would be doing that, and Lane is inline.  But it's also possible not that.

If Center is that deep, I'm not touching one in the first round.  Use those picks on difference makers on defense.  Not downplaying center at all but there are guys to be had that would fill serious holes on defense....and of course the 3rd straight WR in the first.

If the Eagles are looking for a Kelceish Center,  Cam Jurgens, Nebraska. 4.91 40 at 307.  Started at Nebraska as a TE.  The Eagles could use a 300 pound blocking TE/FB.  Was a TE/FB in high school.  Ran the ball.   So,  we want Kelce forever, so it's good that the backup can do something else.

And we have 3 first round picks.

I expect us to go in any other direction and come away with 0 DL in Round 1.

Or, we'll come away with Jon Harris, Derek Barnett and Jerome McDougal.

My favorite DBs to watch today

C Lucas

N Cross

J Foster

D Durant

M Bell

Y Corker

Z McCollum

J Waller

M Emerson

K Gordon

J Pitre

not a bunch of consensus top players , but they can play

I expect Cross to do well during drills , Pitre too  .
