Field corners tend to be better in coverage. He lined up at both outside spots , some slot too , real good in man , and he seen some damn good receivers 2 minutes ago, ManuManu said: Adam Anderson was their best pass rusher, and was talked about as a potential first round pick. Then he was arrested (rape, I believe). He was the best player in college football this year , be the same next year

You’re right. The talking heads were worried about the defense for about a week after his suspension. No wonder Johnson left. You know a transfer Senior was going to get the short end of the stick.
March 6, 20223 yr Regarding Adam Anderson: Quote The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Anderson was viewed as a possible NFL first round draft pick prior to his arrest. He had a team-leading five sacks along with 32 tackles in the eight games he played. He did not play the final seven games of the season for the national champion Bulldogs. He was arrested on Nov. 10. Anderson, 22, was not invited to the NFL combine because of the legal cloud hanging over him, but if he’s permitted to join other Bulldogs pro prospects in taking part in the Pro Day activities, he would take part in doing the bench press, the 40-yard dash and on-field drills. NFL teams are "trying to get to the bottom of that,” Senor Bowl executive director Jim Nagy, a former NFL scout, said this week. "Adam’s a really good football player. They’re exhausting themselves right now trying to figure out what the real story is. They have until April to figure it out. I’m sure they’re throwing every resource at it because of the level of player he is.”
March 6, 20223 yr Maybe Cine has a Darnell Savage-like climb where he ends up in the bottom of the first.

March 6, 20223 yr Does Dax Hill play some single high? I’ve seen a lot of talk about him being a nickel. I wouldn’t think that’s the type of safety we want. That’s why I haven’t been all that interested in Pitre. Just now, RLC said: Hamilton will be fine in a split safety role. He has good instincts, ball skills and is 6-4. He can play single high too.

March 6, 20223 yr It would be real sad not to get a pass rusher in round 1 but Stingley/Hamilton + a DT would be a helluva consolation prize
March 6, 20223 yr Some of these safeties are smooth as silk in the drills - they have better hips than the CBs! Very athletic safety class.
