Bates and Hill would be a combo.

Cross made some money today , as good as you could get

another S I am a fan of

Did Brisker get hurt on his 40? I don’t think I’ve seen him since his first run.

Cross would be great pick in RD2 if he's there.

Rodney McLeod played well as a single high safety for a long time despite running a 4.6 at 5-10, 183.

Im not worried about Hamilton running a 4.59 at his size and with his instincts/ball skills.

I agree. And the length helps. But, its not a top 10 kind of workout.

You can see why Kerby Joseph had all those interceptions, his hands are so natural and relaxed when receiving the ball.

I’m actually excited. Could Hamilton at 15 actually happen?

The Eagles badly need talent and athleticism on defense. This draft is loaded with both.

Fingers crossed….

If you ever wondered why the Jets have been so bad, here's a first round mock that one of their former scouts just put out.

NFL Mock Draft: New York Jets pick NC State OT Ikem Ekwonu, Oregon DE Kayvon Thibodeaux in first round - Sports Illustrated New York Jets News, Analysis and More

He has us taking a corner, safety and edge in the first, but probably not the players you would expect.

that mock draft is a joke.

I enjoyed listening to DeAngelo Hall talking defensive backs. You could tell he was there for the kids and not to promote himself every second (see: Steve Smith).

Id have no problem with Elam.

Pitre sounds like a reach, but its interesting to know how an actual NFL guy has players ranked.

In fairness, this was probably done before the mystery of Sanders' weight loss. He just dominated the senior bowl. Howie loves those guys.

I dont put a ton of stock into the combine results. I look at film over what someones 40 time is without pads and probably 5+ pounds less then their playing weight. These guys have been training just for the combine which skews real playing traits and metrics.

Combine is just for fun and could have a role in picking players down the line when your deciding between 2 guys or a project player in day 3. But day 1 the film does the talking on the decision. People get too over reactive over some of these numbers in the combine. BUT for those Madden players, Im sure they use these results to pick their teams for next year.

That's actually concerning. Is he not healthy?

Good for the kid, but damn, was hoping to 'steal' him in the 5th Round.  He may have jumped himself into R3 now.

Agree.  It's more about being able to diagnose/read a play and react with anticipation and take good angles to get where you need to be.  If he has those skills then he can play the position.  Of course being a little faster helps, but between his size and football IQ he can play.
