He better blow it up at his pro day , because 4.61 will hurt him

Hopefully it hurts him so much he drops right into the eagles lap.

I don't care what his 40 says, on tape he was the fastest guy to the ball every play.

Dude was a heat seeking missile.

For comparison Kam Chancellor who was a multiple pro bowler and all pro safety in the legion of boom ran a 4.69

If you ever wondered why the Jets have been so bad, here's a first round mock that one of their former scouts just put out.

NFL Mock Draft: New York Jets pick NC State OT Ikem Ekwonu, Oregon DE Kayvon Thibodeaux in first round - Sports Illustrated New York Jets News, Analysis and More

He has us taking a corner, safety and edge in the first, but probably not the players you would expect.

Did this guy make up this mock after he did a combo of meth, crack, and LSD?

I wouldn't worry about that Hamilton time. Also we wouldn't have to worry about it either because Howie isn't taking him regardless.

I agree,I can't see Howie taking a safety In the first

I think he's one of the best defensive players In this draft, but safety is generally a lower valued position, teams will be snatching up DEs and CBs before safeties.

That's actually concerning. Is he not healthy?

He ran all over the track weaving back and forth.  Hamilton is probably a full .10 faster than his 40 today.

How do you rank these DT's and where do they go. Davis, Wyatt, Hall, Winfrey, Jones. I feel like we need 1 of these guys.

Brisker hurt his back which is why he set out the rest of the workout

He's 6'4 220+. Hes bigger then some LBs. 4.6 is not bad for a safety of his style of play.

maybe that explains the mediocre time too.

Yup, like I said can chancellor who is a good comparison ran a 4.69

Problem is we need an earl thomas not a Cam

We need good players in just about every position so Ill take a Cam if hes the best player at our pick.

Yeah, and we need two safeties too

Lots of speculation out there right now that Rodgers has already negotiated deals with DEN, PIT, and TEN.  That turd said he would let the Packers and his teammates know by the end of February what his plans are.

If there’s any truth to the speculation, it looks like his mind is partially made up at least, in that he’s not going back to GB

NFL Network said Rodgers promised the Packers he would let them know the day before the Franchise tag deadline. So Im sure hes testing the waters out there on if he feels a different team would be better. Best to do all the research you can, esp if the Packers gave him permission to talk.

I always thought Earl Thomas was overrated and Kam chancellor underrated.

Either way as much as I like Hamilton as a prospect I can't see Howie taking a safety in the first.

Why spend a first round pick on a safety that limits how you align your defense?

The guy will never be able to hang with a WR deep.  Sure, plenty of outstanding safeties with similar speed…none of them went top 15.

You don’t draft a safety that high unless they can be used like a CB in coverage.

Just watched a top ten mock draft on NFL network. DE's Hutch, Kayvon, George, Walker, Johnson all gone. Giants ended up with Icky and Walker. Ojabo makes it out of top ten, may need to look into moving up for him if that happens.

My man killed it

People have all kind of rules for first round picks, most of which I agree. Don't take a RB, don't take a WR who isn't very fast/great at separating, don't take any interior OL, no DL unless they're extremely athletic, no LBs, no S unless they're freaks. Well, you do have to take a player. There are only so many great first round prospects.

Plus, it's a bit of a narrow POV to limit players in these ways, specifically Hamilton. You can have other impacts on the game. Being able to guard elite TEs, being a force in the running game (I bet a lot of these great athletes at S can't tackle worth a $hit). We all want great athletes, but they don't grow on trees and are unrealistic after the top 15-20. We happen to be right on that edge. Paging Howard Roseman.

He’s had a total of 14.5 sacks over the past 3 seasons.  Forget a pay cut, DAL brass should be repossessing his belongings
