Oh, I missed the part where he bet on Falcons games. I take back my "seems excessive” stance.

How does the NFL find this out though?

Likely because his name & e-mail would be attached to this

Take the positive Calvin, probably could get an endorsement deal with DraftKings or Caesar’s or FanDuel

But how would the NFL find that out?  It's not like you can just go and look up who is signed up for whichever gambling website.  That information isn't public.

97.5 just said league sponsored betting sites have a rule in place that they have to report to the NFL if a player makes a bet.

That’s the horned up wife from Step Brothers.  I believe.  Weirdly hot in that.

She was in the Bad Mom films with Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell.  She played a horned up single mom on those.  I thought they were both pretty damned funny.

She's weirdly hot in a lot of things.

Why wouldn't you have a friend place the official bet? Insane.

So Ridley, while not playing due to his anxiety issues, was betting on NFL games.  He must have been really bored then, huh?  "Well, since I'm not playing then it's no big deal to bet on NFL games, even make bets on my team".  Something like that.

So he says he only bet $1500 yet someone tweeted he lost $10M?  Calvin, adding to your anxiety isn't helping your anxiety.  tsk-tsk

So we have someone in the lead for Dumbest Player of the Year.  Ruggs won it last year.

Thanks man, I was trying to figure out where that was from 👍.

And yes, she was 😀

Lost $10M meaning he’s suspended so not going to pocket his 5th year option

Ridley is going to get suspended longer than Watson... a man who was accused of over a dozen sexual assaults/improprieties.

You have a fair point but Ridley's offense is verifiable and a bigger integrity of the game issue.  Watson is on a team imposed suspension pending the outcome.  I don't know what will happen with his suspension but I think he's on a course to miss more than a season.  If there's some criminal conviction, I imagine it will be more like an indefinite ban.

I would agree that the real issue isn't the morality but the money.  Sports betting and viewing games depends people believing in the integrity of the sport.

I wonder if his parlay hit lol

What about Goddell not releasing the findings of the DC team even after the victims wanted the info released. The NFL is a mob of 32 owners who care about the bottom line and nothing else.

According to Tony Buzbee, Deshaun Watson is scheduled to begin his deposition in the civil trials this Friday.  The only problem is only 9 of Watson's 22 accusers have thus far been deposed, meaning Watson will likely just plead the 5th to all questions -- because not all the women's accounts have been entered into the record..

Rusty Hardin, Watson's lawyer, says he expects a ruling on Watson's criminal cases around April 1.  Theoretically, other NFL teams might be motivated to make a trade for him if they know he isn't going to be serving any jail time (If).

There is still other issues though

1- Texans asking price is way to high

2- What will the league do for a suspension

3- Watson never said he wanted to come to Philly

Still a hell to the NO on trading for Watson from me.

Taking the 5th has nothing to do with whether the accusers have already been deposed.

Watson is going to the Panthers in all likelihood ... possibly WAS if he isn't charged with any felony counts.  DEN is also a possibility if they lose out on Rodgers.

Philly has never been on Watson's list and they aren't going to be.

Of course it does.  I'm not letting a lawyer question me, and give answers under oath, before all his clients (my accusers) have spoken on the record.  No defense lawyer should permit that.

You seem very confused about the 5th Amendment.  If you are invoking the 5th Amendment, you are not answering the questions - that's the point.  It has nothing to do with whether the other side is on the record.

Watson would be willing to accept a trade to the Eagles now that Miami is out. He's more likely to take a trade to the Eagles than Panthers or Wash. Denver I think would be close.

This Watson/Eagles thing is going to linger. The Eagles are interested and Watson is available.

Major leaps of assumption there.  As long as Howie is here I doubt he wants to come here.  He wants out of Houston because he hates the front office and how they don't involve him in the decision making.  He isn't going to want to go to another organization where the young highly paid QB wanted out and got out because he hated the front office.
