It has nothing to do with whether the other side is on the record. I'm never confused. Hardin will counsel Watson to invoke the 5th primarily because the criminal complaints have yet to be resolved -- but Hardin also made sure that Watson will only be deposed on ONLY the 9 civil cases where the accusers did not file a police complaint, and whose depositions are already on the record. Watson will not be deposed on the other 13 complaints until those criminal complaints have been resolved, and those plaintiffs have been deposed. It was Hardin's wish to delay all of Watson's deposition until all 22 of the accusers had been deposed, and/or the criminal investigation had concluded. https://www.houstonpress.com/news/hardins-attempt-to-delay-watson-depositions-partially-succcesful-12885633

He wants out of Houston because he hates the front office and how they don't involve him in the decision making. He isn't going to want to go to another organization where the young highly paid QB wanted out and got out because he hated the front office. He does. It's a stable organization with a history of winning and a great offensive line.

Hardin didn't want Watson to be deposed until the Plaintiffs were. That has nothing to do with the 5th Amendment. If you invoke the 5th Amendment, you are refusing to answer the questions. What he wants is for the criminal cases to be resolved so that Watson doesn't have to invoke the 5th Amendment. Like I'm sorry, but I do this for a living and you obviously do not.

The only problem is only 9 of Watson's 22 accusers have thus far been deposed, meaning Watson will likely just plead the 5th to all questions -- because not all the women's accounts have been entered into the record.. Rusty Hardin, Watson's lawyer, says he expects a ruling on Watson's criminal cases around April 1. Theoretically, other NFL teams might be motivated to make a trade for him if they know he isn't going to be serving any jail time (If). Pleading the 5th is solely related to the potential criminal charges. The testimony of the other plaintiffs doesn’t matter in the sense the 5th isn’t a guarantee against being impeached but just related to not having to admit to criminal behavior. I mean even if his defense is that the sexual contact was consensual the 5th might be used to avoid admitting to a solicitation charge.

He's more likely to take a trade to the Eagles than Panthers or Wash. Denver I think would be close. This Watson/Eagles thing is going to linger. The Eagles are interested and Watson is available. I think the broncos are head and shoulders the team he’d want to go to based off talent. The only downside is playing in mahomes division and having herbert there. That division would be loaded at QB. They have the talent on offense for him to thrive with Williams, Sutton, jeudy and fant. this goes back to what i said yesterday, if rodgers says he wants out and goes to Denver then that leaves Washington and Carolina as there were reports after the season that the Steelers wouldn’t go after watson nor trade away multiple first rounders for him (or really any veteran QB. So watson is going to drop his NTC for the commanders? Highly unlikely with that dysfunction. Carolina? Maybe but rhule might get fired, they are looking to deal mccaffrey and their oline sucks. Charles robinson said it best after the season, the landscape has changed with Miami out and potentially Denver acquiring rodgers.
March 7, 20223 yr NFL.com has an article about the 2022 All-Combine Team. I'm not a big believer in the Combine factoring to final draft decisions, but it listed the following players with team fits that included the Eagles: WR -- Garrett Wilson DE -- Travon Walker, Jermaine Johnson S -- Kyle Hamilton

That depends on how Watson's criminal investigation turns out I suspect. If he's indicted/convicted he's likely gonna be thinking back wistfully..

Maybe in the slot similar to the way Landry was used throughout his career. But if we do take him, I wouldn't be mad. Kid can flat out play.
