Just say the people's names even if it's wrong information. It would be more entertaining than listening to whatever old head tangents they go on.

You are misreading the reasoning.Hardin made 2 distinct objections to the timing of Watson’s deposition.   The 5th amendment argument related solely to the pending criminal charges.  Watson’s other argument was that not all of the plaintiff’s had been deposed.  To that end, the judge said the questions would be limited to questions about the 9 plaintiffs that had already been deposed.  The pending criminal charges has nothing to do with whether the depositions of all the women have taken place.

You have a fair point but Ridley's offense is verifiable and a bigger integrity of the game issue.  Watson is on a team imposed suspension pending the outcome.  I don't know what will happen with his suspension but I think he's on a course to miss more than a season.  If there's some criminal conviction, I imagine it will be more like an indefinite ban. 

I would agree that the real issue isn't the morality but the money.  Sports betting and viewing games depends people believing in the integrity of the sport. 

 Same reason why the idiot Pete Rose, received a lifetime ban. Every player knows the rules for betting on baseball, it’s been posted in every locker room since 1919, and the punishment.  It’s likely similar in football.
