I don’t deny that Howie has done some bone-headed things but at least I can acknowledge that he has done some really good things as well. Some in here cannot.

He has definitely done some great things, not just really good.  But there is a trend…

Good to great things: UFA additions, trades, late round fliers

Bone head things: premium/early draft picks, veteran extensions.

Papale isn't a fictional character, though I suppose you could argue the portrayal of him in that movie was...

Bo Svenson and John Matuszak as Joe Bob and OW.

So much for the deep FA TE class…

Here's an off season topic....who's your favorite fictional football character?

I think mine is Lattimore from The Program. Between the roid rages, throwing an alligator into the shower, and just general mayhem, he's awesome.

Billy Bob from Varsity Blues is also up there, though he's kind of sad.

Who you got?

Shane Falco

Will he ring the bell?

Ringing the bell would make his back go out. So he’s unlikely to take that shot and pass up the opportunity.

Watch him rain down 3s .....

Howie thought he stole the Cowboys lunch money when he moved up ahead of them for Goedert. They rebounded nicely with the last pick in the 4th round with Schultz.

in warmups.  Would be funnier if they made him ring the bell and having him swing and miss at it

Do the Eagles franchise tag Alex Singleton or Greg Ward?

Or pass the hammer to a security guard 20 feet farther away from the bell.

Why stop at WR why not tell the team he considers himself a QB?😒

Goedert has more rec, yards, TDs, YPC, basically every stat over him, and is a better blocker.

While Dalton, with drastically better QB play, has less.

He still stole their lunch money.

He may be able to spin it better than does Hurts....

It's kinda sad that Goedert won't be a full time starter with a good QB until he's pushing 30. Dude's a stud.

Yeah, Schultz is a good player (and great value for where they got him) who benefits greatly from his surroundings. Goedert is at least a tier above him.

Man, it must suck to be in the crosshairs of the woke mob and get canceled.

What’s a woke mob?

Running - #1

And that means 9=8 and playoffs.

3 top defense in the first and the Eagles have a pretty great defense.  Rounds 2-7 have a variety of good and interesting players.

College QB/LB  - Troy Andersen - Montana State.  6'3 243 4.42
High School D and O Player of the year RB/LB - Leo Chenal - Wisconsin 6'2 250 4.53

(I'll take a player who played RB or FB exclusively in college who has numbers like that.  243 or heavier, 4.53 or faster.  There isn't one this year.  There is almost never one.   Derrick Henry is the closest.  247 and 4.54.)

Here you have 2 runners who are 243 or heavier and 4.53 or faster.  They were LBs in college for the most part but both ran the ball a whole lot.   The Eagles have that need for big rb, big fb.

Look at 6'3 243 4.42.  Compare Burks.   6'2 225 4.55.  If Burks was 6'3 243 4.42, get him,  but he's not.

2018 Montana State - 1st Team All-Big Sky Quarterback - 206 carries 1412 rushing yards 21 TDs 71 long.   after that,  1st team OLB, then 1st team ILB.  He's probably raw and unpolished at all of these things, but his superior athleticism allowed him to win across the board immediately against Montana State competition.  The numbers are there.  243 and 4.42 is really good for ILB.  9.99 RAS as a LB.  the 40 was 9.97 ras.  Fast for a LB.   Someone like Oweh had crazier numbers,  but 243 and 4.42 is what you want.

I don't think I've been more confused by a post on here
