I like how memes have become the way for people to avoid defending their beliefs.

Or coming up with nicknames like Hurts Squirters.

Nice company you keep.

Plays fast

Agree. I don't think he 4.3 or anything but I bet he has solid top speed. He's a long strider.  When he gets going hes hard to catch.  Reminded me of TO speed and running style.

And there we go.

It's evident when watching him play.  He's fast. Don't care about the 4.55 time.  I think we are lucky that week cause him to drop to us.

You brought nothing to the table in your post, so the MEME was a very appropriate response.  Why don't you give a real response to that post and the associated tweet.

Where is the confusion?

QB purgatory isn't really a difficult topic to understand.

I guess that’s confirmation that we’re making no change at WR coach.

I am sure this has been covered, I am late to the blog today.

It seems to be quite clear that the Eagles did make an offer for Russell Wilson and he would not waive his no trade clause to go to Philly or Washington.

If this does not convince you that the team is not sold on Jalen Hurts and is actively seeking a starting QB for the 2022 season, I don't know what to tell you at this point.  They can give you all the lip service in the media, that is what they are supposed to do, but I will be 100% shocked if the Eagles do not have a new starting QB by the end of draft weekend, and I think it will happen before then.

Who do you think is definitely gone before #15...

OT - Ekwonu, Neal, Cross
EDGE - Hutch, Thib, Walker
S - Hamilton
CB - Gardner, Stingley
LB - Lloyd
WR -  Not sure who, but at least one WR should be taken

Edited

Here's an off the top of my head possible 1-14:

1- Jags: Hutchinson DE (after tagging Robinson, this seems more likely)

2- Lions: Ekwonu OT (arguably best OT in the draft)

3- Texans: Hamilton S (Texans need everything, so just take the top of their board)

4- Jets: Neal OT (arguably best OT in the draft)

5- vaGiants: Thibodeaux DE (need DE bad and slot lines up)

6- Panthers: Pickett QB (Rhule tried to recruit him, and they know Darnold ain't it)

7- vaGiants: Sauce CB (top CB on the board to replace leaving Bradberry)

8- Falcons: Corral QB (sit behind Ryan and learn, could go WR here but I think it's time to think about the future)

9- Seagulls: Willis QB (Lock is bridge for a year while Willis gets coached up)

10- Jets: Walker DE (Jets shore up both lines with studs)

11- WFT: Stingley CB (lost out on the top 3 QBs, take BPA)

12- Vikes: McDuffie CB (replace Patrick Peterson)

13- Browns: G Wilson WR (need another weapon on outside, can't win with just Landry)

14- Ravens: Lloyd LB (Lloyd just seems like a Raven type pick to me, could be Dean)

That leaves us with our choices of:

DE- Ojabo, J Johnson, Karlaftis, Mafe

DT- Wyatt, Davis

CB- Booth, McCreary, Elam, Gordon

LB- Dean

OT- Cross

C- Linderbaum

WR- Olave, Burks, J Williams

QB- Ridder, Howell

Personally, I'd go Ojabo/Johnson, Booth, and Ridder (better if they can trade down a bit from 19 and take him)

Am I the only one who doesn't see 40 times translating to success in the NFL as much as many think? I don't find it to be the key benchmark coming from the combine & pro days.

What are the question marks? I've watched a lot of Hogs games with my buddy who went there and he was awesome to watch.

Burks 3 cone wasn't very good either. Whomever takes him is going off tape, not shorts workouts.

I like Burks, and speed isn't meant to be his stock-in-trade, so his 40 time doesn't bother me at all.  Ideally we would wait until Round 3 and take a similar big WR in Ezukanma or Ross, though.  I could also live with Pierce or Pickens in Round 2 for that matter.

That's my target.

QB purgatory isn't really a difficult topic to understand.

Vikings could have drafted Drew Lock instead of sticking with Kirk Cousins so clearly it's their fault for being in purgatory.

Somewhat topical today.  Kirk = QB Hell.

What stands out is that Matt Ryan is hella overpaid.

I like Burks. His film is impressive. Could not care less that he ran a 4.55. His 3 cone does concern me, but he has the size we need across from Smith. Personally, I'd take Pierce in R2/3 over Burks in R1.

The chart wasn't about Cousins, or qb hell, or really anything. It was just a listing of qb salary cap hits.

What's my response? Yes, qbs make a salary each year?

Also, the Vikings renegotiated Cousins salary in 2020. They could have easily let him play out his deal and moved on. That was a dumb thing to do, and the GM got fired for it.

So I don't get the idea that the Vikings were in qb hell with no way to avoid it when the team's owner thinks they could have avoided it.

I doubt they want to keep the revolving door at WR coach that's been happening for years. Have the receivers been better under him?

I like a few of the Rd 1 WRs like Burks and Wilson. But overall agree.  I think WR is a position we could easily address in free agency and the later rounds whereas I really want some blue chip defenders. Wouldn't hate a WR or iOL in the first few rounds but not my preference.

They are in the same QB hell as the Eagles.  A guy that will be around .500, so you are not going to get into or win in the playoffs, but not drafting high enough to get a better QB.

No

Reagor stinks and has no attention to detail. Watkins can play but has similar attention to detail issues as Reagor. JJAW probably is garbage no matter what.

I’m not really crediting Moorehead with Smith’s rookie year because he was already polished.

Sirianni knows the position and what he wants out of it so he must be happy with him.

My ideal is

15- Ojabo/Johnson (Walker would be amazing if available)

16- Booth

19- Trade down into lower part of first and pick up an extra R2 pick and take Desmond Ridder

From there you have 2 R2 picks to grab S/LB/WR/DT

He’s a weird one. He was built as an athletic freak but he tested poorly. He doesn’t have any nuance to his game. He just bullies and runs past guys, so he looks fast. Maybe he’s like Bowser in Mario Kart and players just bounce off him and he retains his speed.
