I agree Washington got the best of the trade.

That being said, in his outlier turnover year (the only year you chose to use) the numbers say he turned the ball over more than would be expected. He turns the ball over too much.

That may be true but still. With everything that came out with the Santoloquito article, or the Atheltic article, Josina Anderson or any other thing that came out showing the warts, nothing like what McLane just casually mentions is brought up. Feels like he's just making it more dramatic since the whole McLane article is about intangibles and Hurts vs Wentz. Just my opinion on it. 

There was also anonymous sources on that McManus article that backed everything Sproles said.

This is true but I also think he's still better than Heinicke, 2022 Fitzpatrick or any other option Washington could realistically scrap together. The trade might be bad but they improved.

The perplexing part of the Commanders trading for Wentz is that he was going to be cut in another week anyway.  Quite likely could have signed him without giving up draft picks, and at a lower salary and cap number.  The only reason to trade for him is the belief there was more than one offer out there -- I doubt that was the case.

Main player in that was Foles. And then the OL. So Wentz won some games in regular season, congrats. It’s what he can do. When it really matters? No show.

You know what? I’ll be completely honest here: Glad he got hurt or we’d still feel the pain of chasing the first SB.
