McLane said in some article that during the SB run when Wentz was hurt he was upset that team was still succeeding and another injured player got into his face and they had to be separated and almost came to blows.

But it was already in an article in 2019 and now corroraborated by Reese that all it was was Wentz was down because he was hurt and being mopey and Sproles gave him some tough love and told him to stop moping around. And there was no fight or anything more than that.

Now, McLane got his ass kicked in the office once...

Except Panthers are a team Watson previously said he'd waive his no trade clause for and the Eagles aren't.

So many people here continue to be in full blown denial about how none of these QBs want to be traded to the Eagles.

Watson would 100% waive the no trade clause to Eagles at this point, the dude probably wants to just play & his "good” options are getting more limited as time goes on. I don’t think he Should be overly picky right now either.

also him not waiving that clause was last year when Eagles had zero hope & looked like a team picking in the top 3. Now Eagles have a brighter future, just made the playoffs, a couple of good young receiving options, and boast one of the best & most reliable OL in the league. It’s a far more attractive landing spot then it was last year

Well who's the jester who thinks I'd follow JALEN HURTS to another team?

By Les f'ing Bowen of all people

Zero chance Watson would chose the Panthers over the Eagles it's Fing laughable. Fan base that doesn't care, no OL, lame duck coach. GTFOH.

No idea who this guy is but he's verified so take it with a grain of salt

Edit: should say I don't know if he's credible but it is the ex-QB from the early 00's

Exactly. Trust and believe Im not putting on a cape for Wentz but for our fans to pretend he's trash is funny in itself. When you see all the QBs to come and go from the league, there's incredibly worse QBs. He's mistake prone but let's figure our QB situation out before we make fun of them.

He makes crazy mistakes.

Our QB can't throw worth a damn.

So there's that.

I’ll have a great time watching Hurts wipe the floor with a Wentz lead Washington team. Division always is interesting but these games will be pure pleasure.

I don't work in law, and don't binge those types of shows, so what favorable outcome of a deposition would lead to an NFL team feeling comfortable enough to trade the farm? Seems like Shaun is shooting from the hip trying to hit a bullseye if that does come to pass.

Yea, he's probably connecting the dots of Watson and Flores

The Panthers are way more attractive then the Eagles especially with a fan base that doesn't care.

After the lawsuit settles, why would he want to go to a place where that would be the topic on every newspaper, sports radio, bar down the street, etc? Do you think he is mentally tough enough to handle all the nonsense that would be thrown on him, especially the first time he throws an interception against Dallas?

He would want to go to a place where there would be some noise about it for a week or two and then it would completely go away.

That would never happen in Philly.

Watson wants out of the Texans due to the disfunction and issues he has with the FO.  He obviously does not want to be traded to a similar situation in Philadelphia.

I don't know about that.  Closer to home.  Less of a powder keg than Philly.  Less expectations.  Richest owner in the NFL.

I think on field (offensively) I’d choose the eagles over Carolina. Eagles oline massively better than panthers. The panthers are really bad there. Goedert and smith is pretty good. DJ moore and Anderson are also good (however rumors they are trying to deal Anderson). Panthers trying to deal mccaffrey and he’s injury prone now. Not that sanders isn’t but eagles shown they can run whether it’s sanders or someone else.

The other stuff you said 100% agree with. He played at Clemson so it makes sense that’s an area he’d love to play.

Imagine thinking professional athletes elsewhere want to come and play for the Philadelphia fanbase.  Especially one that is constantly turning on their QB for whoever the backup is.

It won't go away no matter where he goes, the NFL is king in America, he can't hide from it. All it would do is bring attention to the Panthers.
