Redskins play a lot of bad teams next year.

He'll have a winning record again next year and flirt with the playoffs. Right around 4000 yards, 25-30 touchdowns and 10 INT's and again we'll hear he's washed

And he'll lose two games they should have won by forcing a pass into double coverage and getting intercepted at a key moment in those games.

Wentz is why I don't take QB rating very seriously, it rewards guys who hold the ball, get garbage yardage and kill drives with sacks.

Indy scored 451 points, gave up 365 and went 9-8.  Their SOS was -0.63. Eagles were -0.97. So can't blame the schedule for Colts having the same record as the Eagles.

Bacarty is the Ben Simmons of this board.

After year 4, probably even year 3, that should be blatantly obvious.

I think some of those guys don't make that shift until they have to, meaning they get serious about it once the legs start to lose a little.  But most only became the QBs they became because of their legs, so there really isn't much to fall back on other than really just developing an underdeveloped latent skill set.

You don't seem to be taking anything seriously these days.

How did I forget Walker! .  You are correct.

Yeah, Travon is the best 4i - but if we are constantly shifting between a 4i and standard LDE alignment in-game maybe the gap closes a bit between him and GK3 (at least initially, as Travon has a higher ceiling but less experience outside).

If you polled the people here and said, would you trade 1, first round pick for Deshaun Watson tomorrow, 95% of the people here would do it.

Even though they hate Wentz for forcing his way out of Philly because of bad management exactly like Watson did. O, and Wentz didnt have the 20+ sexual assault charges like Mr. Watson

Bad management is a pretty big strawman.  Yes, I wish the Eagles handled things differently, but every person chooses how they react to situations.

Doesn’t take QBR seriously either. Cause i was told Davis mills was as good as Watson when he started in December. his last 6 starts (December through jan 9) his QBR was 6.2, 27.8, 20.5, 79, 31 and 70.4. An average of 39.2 ( and his two good games the chargers defense was without multiple starters due to Covid and the titans who got up big 21-0 at the half and took their foot off the gas). Which would rank 25th in the league. Watson in 2020 was 63.7 (12th in the league that year) which compared to 2021 he’d be 5th.

Yep. Wouldn’t be shocked if he goes top 5 at this point.

I didn't clarify this but this was the stats for running vs. passing in an RPO.

i like him depending on the price. Seems too rich for my blood though

He might want to come here just to screw the Commanders.

So we traded Carson only to have the Colts boomerang him right back to the Division in one season.  Wow.

Guess after we robbed them by selling that bum at a fantasy price a little f— you from them is well deserved.

Except they can’t even get that right. Him playing in the division is a present.

But the bigger problem affecting the Eagles at the current moment is what to do with the bum QB we're stuck with

I have seen you mention QBR to pump up Jalen Hurts, Carson Wentz was 9th in QBR last season.

And in regards to QB rating, here are the top of the league.

1.  Rodgers ( the MVP )

2.  Burrow ( Super Bowl QB )

3.  Prescott ( playoff QB )

4.  Cousins

5. Wilson

6. Stafford ( Super Bowl winning QB )

7.  Jamies Winston

8.  Tom Brady ( the GOAT )

9.  Kyler Murray ( playoff QB )

10. Jimmy G ( NFC championship game QB )

Malik Willis is the Zach Wilson of this draft.  Both have great arms.  Neither is that good.  Don't fall for the hype.

More Zach Wilson than Trey Lance?

Somehow recouping what they did for Wentz was highway robbery.  Granted, they got robbed themselves last year.

Man I figured we'd probably get about what Washington offered last year.  Howie fleeced the Colts out of a 1.

Oh, and before you get mad about him in the division, the Commanders are picking up that hefty $28m salary this year!  Not only did Howie get a 1 for Carson, he also robbed the Commanders of like half their available cap space.

Good luck Commander Carson!

Cycling back to the mock from Matt Alkire.

He double dips at DE with Karlaftis at #16 and then Ojabo at #19.   This intrigues me with the Gannon line shift being much more 3-4 in alignment with the 4i than a more traditional 4-3 with the 3-technique DTs and the DEs out wider.

Karlaftis might be the best 4i style DE in this draft (or at least in the first round)... and Ojabo would fit much better at that wide-9 aligned DE than most of the other options.  Bringing in Karlaftis to play the strong side DE in the 4i, and allowing Ojabo to play the wide 9 role makes a lot of sense.  The alignment would allow Karlaftis and Graham to rotate at 4i, and Ojabo and Sweat to rotate at wide-9.

I don't love this as the top two picks, but I don't hate it either.

What about DT in a 4i?

Currently they have a at the end of the line Cox and then hargrave for what 1 more year?

Seems Milton would be a strong DE in Gannon's 4i alignment no???

If Jordan Davis dropped to 15 he's a perfect fit for 4i DT and one could use one of the other firsts on DE.

Though I also think there could be some good DTs and DEs in the 2nd round as well.

Not sure any of those names but I'm sure plenty in here who follow college and draft more than I that could name names...
