While I don't disagree, if somehow (MINUTE chance of this happening) Walker and Karlaftis are available and they take Karlaftis...the blog may implode.

Sucks he will be long gone by the time 15 rolls around. I just don't like George. I'm going to have to watch him some more to hopefully find some things to change my mind,

This intrigues me with the Gannon line shift being much more 3-4 in alignment with the 4i than a more traditional 4-3 with the 3-technique DTs and the DEs out wider. Karlaftis might be the best 4i style DE in this draft (or at least in the first round)... and Ojabo would fit much better at that wide-9 aligned DE than most of the other options. Bringing in Karlaftis to play the strong side DE in the 4i, and allowing Ojabo to play the wide 9 role makes a lot of sense. The alignment would allow Karlaftis and Graham to rotate at 4i, and Ojabo and Sweat to rotate at wide-9. I don't love this as the top two picks, but I don't hate it either. Reading the team really like Zec was extremely discouraging.
March 10, 20223 yr Sheik’s FA predictions for each team. Here is his Eagles prediction: S Justin Reid WR Zach Pascal LB Anthony Barr The Eagles could lose safeties Rodney McLeod and Anthony Harris in free agency. Reid, 25, has started 53 games in four seasons and would offer a likely upgrade. Pascal had a down 2021 but was productive the previous two seasons, and Nick Sirianni knows him well from their time together with the Colts. Barr is 30 and has played in just 13 games over the past two seasons. Signing him to a low-cost, one-year deal and then trying to find a better option in the draft could make sense at linebacker

Him playing in the division is a present. I don’t get this take. Is Wentz going to return to 2017 form? Probably not. Is he better than Jalen Hurts? Definitely. We are going to have trouble beating Washington with our current roster.

Barr is ok, but has had knee issues and will be 30. He is better than any LB we have though. Not sure how much he would cost but I think I'd pass there too.
March 10, 20223 yr 41 minutes ago, Utebird said: What about DT in a 4i? Currently they have a at the end of the line Cox and then hargrave for what 1 more year? Seems Milton would be a strong DE in Gannon's 4i alignment no??? If Jordan Davis dropped to 15 he's a perfect fit for 4i DT and one could use one of the other firsts on DE. Though I also think there could be some good DTs and DEs in the 2nd round as well. Not sure any of those names but I'm sure plenty in here who follow college and draft more than I that could name names... Kind of responding in order: The issue with a DT at 4i is that you that they can shift to a 3T in a 4-man alignment, but they generally don't have the pass rushing chops to be a DE. So, if we drafted say Wyatt he could definitely be a 4i/3T but he'd be splitting reps most likely with Milton. Yes, going heavy on DL makes sense as Cox should be gone and do we want to extend a 30+ Hargrave. Drafting them this year means the estate planning is moved as far along as possible. Correct, Milton is a scheme fit for 4i/ multi-front defense. Really good pick, and maybe a sign Gannon knows his personnel since Howie might be a blind squirrel/pig, etc. I disagree, Davis is a 0T in a 3-man line and a 1T in a 4-man front. He's athletic enough to play 4i, but I think you'd be playing him out of position (and who'd be better at taking those reps at NT?). Definitely, if we miss on DE-4i/DE-OLB/NT in the 1st there are some very worthwhile prospects on Day 2... just less freaky. To name a few: 4i-DE: Josh Pascal DE-OLB: Myjai Sanders (a bunch of these actually) NT: Travis Jones

March 10, 20223 yr Lots of smoke out there of Watson to Carolina. Knowing the Texans they probably want McCaffrey as the centerpiece.

I have him behind Hutch, Thibodeaux, Walker and Johnson. 17 minutes ago, ManuManu said: There’s nothing wrong with that provided they don’t decide to pass on a CB because of him. But with Slay getting up there, I really want his successor in house this year. Your top CB's (meaning R1 potential between pick 1-32 guys) are Sauce, Stingley, Booth, McDuffie, Elam, McCreary, Gordon. I think there's potential for Sauce, Stingley and McDuffie all being gone by 15. That leaves me at Booth being the best of the remainder.
