Unless Neal or Ike drop to #15/16, don't even bother with OL in RD1

I think Kelce plays more than just next year, he's on the doorstep of the HOF. Let's kick the door down by 2-3 more probowls.

He's already there. With last year being his 4th time first team all pro he's locked in.

With Kelce back, I don’t expect to see OL addressed until day 3

Howie loves lineman.  Nothing surprises me.

That would be a bit short-sighted.  If a stud is sitting there in Round 2 or 3, they need to be willing to grab one.  Johnson won't be around for much longer, neither will Kelce.  RG is a question mark right now.  Seumalo is a FA after this coming season, Driscoll can't stay healthy, and Opeta/Herbig are backups at best.  Nothing more.

I agree with that and have mentioned the same things before, but I think The front office has more faith in Herbig and Sua then we do. And a lot of confidence in Stoutland’s ability to coach up

Lane is the best RT in the NFL and is only 31, he's got at least 3 more years of top play in him.

They can also overplay that hand.  Herbig and Sua are both limited, there's a reason they were UDFAs.  Stoutland can accomplish a lot, but he's not a miracle worker.

Kelce gives them more options, early in the draft they'd look at more a G/C like Green, or take a project later on who's more of a pure center and groom him.

He took a 7th round rugby player from Australia that never played organized football before and turned him into a really good LT.

That is pretty miraculous if you ask me.

The Dylan kid from Memphis on Day 3 please!

So happy my favorite Eagle is giving me a year reprieve from the sadness I’ll inevitably feel when he does call it quits.

You have to wonder if he knows something in the works, would he really come back to go 9-8 and get bounced rudely out of the playoffs.

Plus it would be great to sit and learn from these guys

For those of you who are interested in these things, the Seahawks have now jumped the Eagles in dead cap space for 2022.  Hawks now lead 40.6 million to 36.4 million.

Should not be for long though, once Brooks retirement numbers are figured, we should cruise back into the lead.

🥱  Yes, that's the perfect answer for all things.   And what did he do with Jamon Brown?  Matt Pryor?  Brett Toth?  How about Andre Dillard at RT?  Could he fix Chance Warmack?  There's a limit to the extent that Stoutland can work his magic... because it's not magic.  He's a really good coach and a great communicator of what he wants the player to do, but he can't turn garbage into an All-Pro.

The clay of Mailata is the kind of thing that's not normally available in Round 7.  Yes, he had never played before... but the advantage of that was that he had no bad habits that had to be fixed.  Mailata was also hungry to learn and work to improve.  Mailata is also a freak athlete, which means even when he's beat, he can recover better than many others, and he's freakishly strong, so he can get away with some sloppy technique from time to time and just win on brute force.

Yeesh, all I was doing was giving Stout his due and that he has already produced a miracle.

No need to get your panties in a twist.

You always take a good o-line men if they are available.

I’d kick the tires.

Yeah... my panties are fine.  I also have a realistic outlook on what Stoutland can do, and what he can't.  Mailata wasn't a miracle.  It was a perfect marriage between a hungry player/athlete and a great teacher.  But, sure... let's expect Stoutland to do that with anyone we provide on the roster and ignore OL.  That worked well for us in 2020 when the years of negligence of the OL came back to bite us.  Let's repeat that mistake and just assume Stoutland can fix it when it crumbles again rather than be proactive.

Trolling.  I hope.  And I don’t like Hurts.  But that’s a ridiculous take.

Not sure I could watch them if Kaep was the QB

Oh man it's going to be a fun night.  I might have to listen to Kate Scott to see how the crowd is.
