Get it done Howie, get it done

Oh goody... the guy who wants to dictate to the franchise he is currently with is (reportedly) willing to condescend to consider the lowly Eagles.     I can't wait to find out what his opinion of Howie and Sirianni is.

It makes zero sense to trade all 3 1st round picks for Watson.  The Texans have no leverage; the player with the no-trade clause has the leverage.  The Texans can only negotiate a deal with teams on his waive list.  The trade value will depend on the number of teams on his waive list, and subtract the teams from that list who don't want him.

Unless there are 4-5 teams on the final list the bidding isn't going to be that high -- not close.  A 2022 1st, a 3rd (or player), and a future 1st (2023) would get it done.

100% agree, and if you can get him for that, you do it immediately.

I'm in a great mood, having a great time. You're the one that went off the rails.

I'm about to go walk my dog, smoke a J while doing so, and enjoy our -20 C weather (I think -4 F for y'all). I have no idea what you're talking about with past circle jerks or current ones, you seem very hung up on them though. Very odd behaviour.

I saw the Circle Jerks in 1987 at Club Pizazz in Philly, great show.

I guess there's a kiper mick that has us taking Ebiketie  at 16. That's by far the highest I've seen him projected.

Other picks were Lloyd at 15, and Olave

Lots of folks have discussed Linderbaum if he's available at one of our 1st round picks.  Are there any OG aside from Kenyon Green that are worthy Day 2 picks? (2nd/3rd round)

Thayer Munford - Day 3.   Already a jack of all trades type OL.  Would be a guy that I think Stoutland would love to have to be a backup across the board.  Has played both OT and OG.

We're such a clear football fit for Watson that it makes sense to trade all 3 1sts for him...but man, it would be a tough pill to swallow.

In what world?  Is it the looming suspension or the diva nature where he refuses to play unless he gets his way with the GM and/or HC?

Re: Allen Robinson

I am just not seeing it.  I like him, I just don't think its the right move at this moment in time.  Seems more like an Alshon type move, for a team that is only a few pieces away.  He'll be 29 by the time the next season starts and it seems like it would be just one of those contracts that have gotten the FO in trouble the last 4-5 years.  I'd rather go with a younger option like Chark, Kirk or Gallup if we are going to add a WR in free agency.

I am morally opposed to adding a former Cowboy  so no Gallup.  I think Kirk is probably going to be too expensive or at least as expensive as Godwin who would be a better option.  I also think Arizona isn't going to let him walk.  The Eagles were rumored to have made an offer for JuJu that he turned down.

I remember when eagles signed Vick there were fans that said they wouldn't support the eagles any longer.

Difference between Vick and Watson is Vick did his time paid his debt, made amends.

Watson is still in the process of trying to prove his innocence but 20+ women to me would be a hard pill to swallow even if Watson made it all go away ala big Ben.

Owners will put money and winning over morales though and reportedly Lurie already green lit a possible trade.

I wouldn't quit the eagles over it, much to the chagrine of some posters on here😉 but I wouldn't be happy about it.

Agreed 100%. Vick did his time, proved to the Eagles over that first year that he was committed to making amends and staying on the right moral/legal path. Some still haven't forgiven him, and that's fine, but there isn't a whole lot he could've done to atone that he didn't do.

Something is clearly up with Watson. Debate the severity til you're blue in the face, but he's a weirdo at best and a predator at worst. Has demonstrated zero accountability. I don't want him at all.

Godwin may be seen as a #1 WR on another team.

Kirk is a slot guy, #2 at best.

I don't think they will cost the same

I want to see Juju and Reagor making tiktoks together next year. 🤣

I am not sure why but the Eagles did not seem to target him early in games.  They should have designed their passing attack with Goedert and Smith getting at least 10 targets per game.  It did not seem to me that was ever really the plan.  I mean he was 39th in the league in terms of targets.  He was only targeted 10 times and over twice.  Goedert was 16th in terms targets for TEs but 4th in yards.  Certainly a big part of this was the limitations Hurts has as a passer but part of it also appears to be a deficiency in scheme.  I hope they take a look at this because I am not sure the a QB fixes the issue alone.  Look at the 4th down play above, what clear thinking coach calls a play where his 2 best receivers are not the primary targets.  It's not smart at all.  It may be that Howie/Lurie are pushing for Reagor to be involved more but some of this seems to me to be linked to some of Sirianni's thinking/ego.  Like I know if I just motivate Reagor and give him this prime chance, he will perform for me.  Well that's never really a winning approach.

Especially after force-feeding him the ball with Minshew to get the Eagles rookie record, they targeted him and moved the ball downfield. As you said, is it Nick or Jalen?
I just listened to Jason Avant, he’s never been the biggest Hurts fan and he mentioned Aikman’s comments about targeting your number 1 receiver. Again though he asked the question, is it Nick or Jalen?  Avant did have high praise for Nick making this offense as easy as possible for Jalen.
I think it’s next week Siriani meets with Lurie, one of the issues he had with Doug was slow starts in games, leading to slow starts record wise, I don’t think Hurts has a first quarter TD since the Saints game.  Then in the playoff game, you defer the ball to one of, if not the greatest QB ever?  Which means you’re likely playing from behind, again.

Ego wasn’t mentioned lol, but others closer to the team than me and you pretty much agree on why Reagor is out there getting targeted, and it’s not Howie or Jeff, which is unfortunate.

John Henderson. What a great comp. I loved that guy coming out of Tennessee. What a waste of talent.

Sirianni will probably be more hands on with the WRs in this camp, look for them to bring in a bunch of draft picks/UDFAs/SFAs and then churn them - they need to not only challenge Reagor, but upgrade their depth and try to develop some solid role players.

There’s a question, after Siri meets with Lurie is Moorehead retained?

Deshaun Watson is still going to be traded for a haul, especially if Rodgers/Wilson don't move. QB thirst is real.

Not now.  When he was drafted over Matthews... absolutely.  Sign as a UFA instead of going for Desean, absolutely.  But not now unless he comes cheap.

to be fair, from a legal standpoint, while everything is active, Watson shouldn't be saying anything at all, let alone starting to go on the repair campaign trail.  He may very well show remorse and learning from this.  He may not.  But I wouldn't take his silence so far as much at all other than legal maneuvering.

Didn't Jarvis Landry get a huge contract and was fairly similar to Kirk?

Coming off the ACL, he might be a little cheaper, or maybe even a 'prove it' deal.  But if he were to do that, he won't be coming here for that.

Step 1.  Avoid grand jury indictment

Step 2.  Settle all 22 civil lawsuits -- last report only 18 were open to settling

Step 3.  Give list of no-trade waiver teams to Texans -- last time it was only MIA and NYJ, then reduced to only MIA

Step 4.  Find out what NFL discipline will be (probably 6-8 games; not a big deterrent)

All of the above needs to be resolved before any serious trade negotiations take place.  The draft is in April, and once the draft is done the Eagles aren't likely going to have the same draft capital for 2023.

I'd much rather sign a former Cowboy in Gallup, then a complete turd like JuJu.  He is an immature tiktok dckbag..  He would be hated in Philly.  No thanks.

I'm not a JuJu fan either but former Cowboys with the Eagles are just bad.  The only former NFC East players we should get are from the WFT.

The all 22 will still prove he gets open

At some point you have to wonder what his real value is and will he ever be the same player when he comes back.  Considering he will have to serve some sort of suspension.  We're talking at best, 1 1/2 + years out of the game.  That is a seriously long layoff.

Long layoff did not hurt JaMarr Chase, and he went from college to the NFL after the layoff.
