So? That doesn’t make it a good choice. Russell Wilson grew up in Virginia and rejected the Redskins. That article was from last year. A lot has changed in panther land since then.

Who said it was a good choice? I never did. However i know he’d approve going there. Do you have any report besides g Cobb at the moment saying he would here? No. Until he does it doesn’t matter if we have the best assets or capital. Trust me i have said watson is the guy the eagles have coveted for over a year.

If he takes a one year prove it contract He really should go to the chiefs. Along side kelce and hill with mahomes he could be highly productive and cash in the following offseason.

Please show me the eagles article of that? There’s been multiple rumors he would as he likes the area and played near there in college. I’ve seen multiple Texans beat writers who’ve covered the league for decades say he wouldn’t to Philly. In fact Aaron Wilson said the other day said he heard watson wouldn’t come here still. So until there’s a definitive report he would i can’t really say the eagles are the top place. At least Carolina has that going for them unlike us  

trust me I’d glad accept a trade for watson. I’ve been saying they should if he’s cleared for over a year.

This had to do with the Panthers man. My comment had nothing to do with Philly. You posted an article from last February stating he’d wave the NTC for them. I don’t think he will NOW since the organization has become a complete mess.

I still think he would. Aaron Wilson discussed them in one of his articles and said he’d still go to the panthers the other day. So again report last Feb. Report LAST WEEK saying he’d likely approve for Carolina from a Texans beat writer who’s been in contact with Watson’s reps.

The Texans also have Davis mills who they like. Not sure hurts really moves the needle for them all that much in this unless they absolutely love hurts

Thats really actually ideal.

Hurts is a very fine backup on a rookie contract. Minshew's value is maxed out. Everyone knows what he is by now. IF by any chance Hurts continues to improve (even while a backup) with more years in the league, more pre-season and backup reps.... you can still potentially trade him for decent value down the line.

Id love it if Houston valued Minshew higher than Hurts. 

I wouldn’t mind Minshew starting during Watson’s suspension (if that comes it be). He could play well enough to flip next year for a day 2 pick.
