Is that right? He should try out for the flyers they could use an enforcer. And he doesn’t have to catch the puck.

I am actually rooting for them to get into the top 5 for the draft lottery. Sadly that is as hard for them to accomplish as winning a game in 2022.

I don't think anyone looked at Landry's production as anything other than a slot WR that ended up being the primary target on a not great team. He got close to $50 million guaranteed. I don't think Kirk is going to be a cheap option. This site has Kirk's projected market value at $12.6 million. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/arizona-cardinals/christian-kirk-25146/market-value/ vs. $18.6 million for Godwin. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/arizona-cardinals/christian-kirk-25146/market-value/ They have Chark at $11.9 million. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/jacksonville-jaguars/dj-chark-25160/market-value/ They have Davante Adams at $25.7 million. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/green-bay-packers/davante-adams-14463/market-value/ I don't know that any of those numbers make sense for a slot. If you figure there's a likely 4 year contract, it's a about $25 million difference between the players.

Even then you can’t really judge him after only 1 year with our defense. Our defense wasn’t great this year, but it’s also not very talented. He has done a fine job with what he has.

I hope Brian Johnson gets hired as a HC too. I want more draft picks. What I really want is the best man for the job to get hired based on a teams philosophies, needs and direction they are trying to go regardless of race but that can't happen in today's NFL.

I didn't mean your comment, I meant the policy.

Stats were bloated from playing bad teams in the 2nd half IMO
January 20, 20223 yr Just did this draft on PFN: 16. Jordan Davis - DT Georgia 19. Daxton Hill - S Michigan 20. Kaiir Elam - CB Florida 51. Drake Jackson - DE USC 52. Christian Harris - LB Alabama 83. Quay Walker - LB Georgia 153. Jeremy Ruckert - TE Ohio State 161. Charleston Rambo - WR Miami 165. Cole Strange - OG Chattanooga 209. DeAngelo Malone - DE Western Kentucky Assuming we can snag a vet WR in FA and letting Hurts/Minshew battle it out for the starting job, this defense gets drastically better, younger and faster. We get multiple players at each level. We add some OL depth and get a true TE 2 who can also block. Ideally I wouldve traded out for a first next season, but none of the trades seemed worth it to me. I'll send this to Howie.
January 20, 20223 yr Word has it we might be able to move up to 15 from 19 without giving up much. Anything to the rumors?
