Alright cool, can't back up your stance.   Eagles and another team offer the same trade, why is that scale being pushed to the Eagles side?  The 3 first round picks are the scale tipping asset that the Eagles have in any trade this offseason.

Because you think 3 1sts in the same draft are more valuable than 3 1sts spread out over 2-3 drafts.  I think the latter is more valuable

I guess you did now that you're replying like some teenage girl instead of providing the thought process behind your belief.

What do you have against teenage girls?

honest question, i didnt watch a lot of Texan games, is Watson that good? The Texans have always sucked with him at QB. What am i missing? I understand he is better than Hurts (who i am no fan of) but is Watson 'that good'?

I haven't watched a lot of his games. I saw the one playoff game and it wasn't good. He threw for almost 5000yds in 2020 when the team went 4-12

Here's a highlight video

Why is that more valuable?  NFL franchise are trying to improve as quick as possible with how quickly NFL teams can turn it around.

Why has everyone, fans and media alike discussed the Eagles 3 first round picks this year as such great assets if they would not be on the table?

He sure won't have DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller or Kenny Stills to throw to if he's traded here.

Rookies don't turn a team quickly.

Why have fans and media alike referred to the Eagles 3 first round picks as major trade assets this offseason?  Why has that been the entire discussion surrounding them since they obtained them?

If they are smart they use all 3 of those picks to build the team....even if that means trading back with one. Build the team, fill the holes, then trade a few picks like the Rams did. Honestly, I still think Strong can be a good QB in the NFL. Trading all these picks for Watson won't fix the DL, LB, S, CB, or WR.

I guess we will have to wait one more day

Because they are an asset.  Cap space is an asset.  But I'd expect a FA signing like Marcus Williams to have more of an impact at Safety than Hamilton, Hill, Pitre, Brisker.

I’m just looking forward to seeing how much weak 1997 insult game he can bring at a time.

So you're seriously trying to die on this hill that the three first round picks the Eagles accumulated were never done so for a potential blockbuster trade?

Got a new song, thanks for naming it. It's called Memes and Momma's. Coming to a club in Philly soon.

You are a dramatic person.  We have not been discussing the Eagles intentions around accumulating the picks.  I have said on several occasions over the past 6 months the intent was to trade for a QB.  This hill which is hosting my theoretical death is your own discotheque.

However, what we have been talking about is what we think Houston would value more in a trade: 3 1st round picks in a singular draft or spreading those picks out over 2-3 drafts.  I think there is more value spreading them out.  You think there is more value in a singular draft.  So be it.  In my opinion, Houston would rather have multiple picks in the 1st and 2nd rounds of the 2022, 2023, maybe 2024 drafts than 4 1st round picks (our three plus their own) in the 2022 draft.

I don't think we're a serious player for Deshaun Watson. I just don't and haven't had the feeling that the Eagles are prepared and willing to make that kind of bold, aggressive move.

I dont think cox gets traded but the chargers have been rumored. Imagine having Joey bosa, Mack and Cox rushing the passer. Geez

I think he’s going to get traded. Was very out of nowhere for Ian to bring up Cox in trade scenarios.

Yes. He is. They played with a bottom 3 defense like 3 years in a row.  But he is easily top 5 NFL qb.

No, he isn't. By any standard other than raw counting statistics, but that would also make Cousins a top 5 QB.

He's 1-2 in the playoffs, the most points Houston scored in his four seasons was 402.

Probably somewhere in the 6-12 range. And he's a head case.

Not with that defense.  Have you completely memory holed how our defense couldn't stop top 15 QBs in the league from completing 80%+ of their passes every single time we played one?  You aren't contending with anyone with a defense that is so hopeless against the QBs you will run into in the playoffs.

Remember, the excuse for Watson not winning in Houston was the talent around him, but when he made the playoffs they were 4th and 19th in points allowed.

So he's going to come here and win with a weak ass defense even though he couldn't win there with a weak ass defense.
