Very interesting.  Gotta think there might be some serious Minshew trade discussion going on between the Colts and Eagles where Mort is borderline expecting it at this point to have that little blurb ready to go.  I can't imagine he would be so careless to just reply without verifying with his sources as well.

So Minshew only playing 2 games with a 1-1 record would go from a 6th rounder that we paid for him to a 4th and 2nd? I smell BS. Worthless even posting that crap. 

Yeah, I don't think there's anything to it. Mort probably has talked to Ballard, but doesn't know anything other than what's already been made public.

I won;t say he sucks. BUT he is not an NFL starter. Hes a good backup. 

NFL has tried the RB at QB back in the day and didnt work, now they have tried again with Kyler, Jalen, Lamar and they are starting to realize it is not the way to go. Fads always make a comeback but like always, go out of style quick.

I doubt the fake schefty has the true compensation.

But based on Mortenson's quick reaction I do believe a deal may be close. He pounced on that like it was expected.

If the Panthers get Watson then Howie can easily package picks 16 and 19 to move up high enough for the QB of his and Nick’s choosing

Pro Days for QBs and official visits are on the horizon.  I’ll believe the Eagles are sticking with Hurts if they’re not front and center in that process
