It’s an offense driven league and the Eagles have little to no fire power on offense. Going defense with all 3 picks doesn’t make much sense. I guess we’ll see what they do in free agency.

I dont know, if they keep hurts, they should draft that punter dude, the other poster mentioned, he could be our only all pro next year, if they keep hurts and koy

My first mock - I don't like Karlaftis but I choked under pressure and figured Lloyd would still be there at 19.  If anyone needs any font advice, I charge by the hour.

When's the last time adding a player who's been unproductive or trending downward for several years hoping to revive their careers has worked out for a Philadelphia team.

Feels like Philly teams are 0 for in that department.

Fans will always talk themselves into it and then by the 2nd game watching them fans turn on them and it's "___ team let this go for for a reason HE FING SUCKS WHAT A TERRIBLE SIGNING/TRADE!"

Foles is a good one. Seems to be like the only one. Another sign that all the stars aligned that year. For the first time in Philly sports history, everything worked out perfectly, every bounce went the Eagles way. It's probably why things have been crap since. Things went so well that year, the universe needed to balance out and give the Eagles a decade's worth of crap luck to make up for it.

I will say this about JJSS. If he’s going to regain the magic he had in 2018, he’s certainly not doing it with our current QB, that’s for sure. Get Watson and maybe he’ll regain some magic.

I know true for most guys, but I think he is a wr you want to hit in stride on time if you are going to max his skill set.

No trades, default setting PFF

This is where I'm at.

He is better than everyone on our roster aside from maybe Smith. No, he isn't as big or flashy, but he would still be a good receiver here.

Juju Smith-Schuster does feel almost inevitable as a FA signing.  If it happens my hope is that his paltry YPC the past couple of full seasons was a byproduct of Big Ben’s elbow falling off whenever he threw the ball more than 3 yards.  The Steelers passing numbers as a whole have really been bad since 2019.  Less than 10 yards per completion every year.

On defense I’m hoping for a safety and a DE signing.  I’m sure the Eagles will draft a first round DE, but have little hope they’ll spend a premium draft pick on one

Every time I watch highlights of Treylon Burks I’m struck by the Jalen Hurts clone throwing him the ball.  I hope that’s not the Eagles main impetus for their interest in him.

Karlaftis is a guy who’d be the next JJ Watt on another team and a slow oaf on the Eagles. How it always works for the Eagles. I want pure athletes at the position. Been so long since the Eagles had an athletic freak off the edge.

Haven’t you seen Barnett’s bend??

When the eagles did well they didnt throw much (obviously) and based on those numbers heres what I got.

400 attempts or so.

100 going to Goedert

100 going to Smith

100 going to our running backs

leaving 100 for ward, Quez, reagor and people here want to spend legitimate resources on another WR. PASS

The goal is another QB as well. I don’t think anyone who wants to bring in receivers is comfortable with Hurts.

You know teams draft/sign players with the future in mind too, right?

Holy hell talk about terrible timing

If I was that guy I would sue Tom Brady. Football definitely took a turn for the worst with that Fing idiot coming back out of "retirement" I hope he sucks this year.

Didn't you hope he sucked every year?

Cheap deal

Ok.  6 new players by the end of today or else is a failure.

How ridiculous is his $196M in career earnings?  Insane.

110 games 66% completion 27109 yards 220 TD's 61 Ints  7.8 YPA

109 games 65% completion 31262 yards 232 TD's 60 Ints  7.5 YPA

111 games 68% completion 29563 yards 205 TD's 72 Ints  7.7 YPA

103 games 65% completion 26782 yards 223 TD's 36 Ints  7.4 YPA

101 games 71% completion 29277 yards 208 TD's 66 Ints  7.8 YPA

112 games 65% completion 31071 yards 205 TD's 105 Ints 7.7 YPA

105 games 66% completion 28281 yards 192 TD's 76 Ints 7.6 YPA

112 games 67% completion 31569 yards 186 TD's 79 Ints 7.7 YPA

90 games 65% completion 25031 yards  167 TD's 80 Ints  7.2 YPA

The records of the following QB's over a 5 year stretch between 2014 and 2021 in random order Brady, Ryan, Stafford, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Rodgers, Cousins, Brees and Wilson, pick out the QB who's earnings are insane without looking it up.

Honestly, I'm expecting none from outside the team.  I think we are in on the 2nd wave of FA.  Perhaps my own attempt at not being disappointed when players I hope we sign are reported going to other teams.
