Surprised at the lack of outrage that another coaching cycle is happening and no one requested Bieniemy

No HC opening. He’s going to leave a perennial super bowl contender and his mentor to come here and maybe make the playoffs?

Just wait until either Gannon or Harbaugh is the first coach hired...then it will begin.  People that like to complain about that don't care until he's not mentioned.  So much fake outrage.

??

I’m talking about the openings around the league.

I thought this free agent article was pretty good. We might stay out of the price range of the first 2. The last 4 seems like a typical eagles offseason. Turay- ok depth player. Zaire Franklin- typical eagles LB signing. Special teams guy who we hope can start.  Justin Reid- boom or bust guy at safety who has shown potential but up and down. we hope hits but might not. Christian Kirk- big splash. Underwhelming as your big splash. But solid nonetheless.

I would argue that Hurts completely lacks the key physical traits of a qb…tall frame and strong arm.

Realizing now that I had read that completely wrong. I thought he meant guys that are really athletic and can run around. Now I see he means having a cannon arm isn't as effective if you can't read the d or throw with anticipation.

I don’t know the context and I assume he may have meant more athletic guys who can run around.  I just wanted to emphasize that Hurts lacks both the processing and the physical components of a QB.

So crying in a corner in his mom's basement with his blankey pulled up over him?

He doesn’t have the traits any novice can see (size, accuracy, arm strength) nor most of the traits that make a successful QB (anticipation, pocket presence, ability to read defenses, extremely fast mental processing).

This isn’t good. Although, I’m glad the TB game removed any doubt. He seems like a good, hard working guy and decent leader, but he’s just got no QB ability.

0-7.  Not good If he is the QB next year, the front office is a joke. Purgatory!!!

Marcus Williams is exactly the type of guy you splurge for in free agency. If it's possible, I hope the Eagles can make it happen. I'd rather one Marcus Williams than 2 or 3 mid level guys.

Article says we should be able to spend in FA and they are currently 12 million under.  I thought they were in cap trouble this coming year?

In fairness it’s 0-6 cause he didn’t play week 18 vs. Dallas. But either way the offense with garbage time tds only averaged 19.8ppg.

Check out the nevada WR Romeo doubs if you are checking out Carson strong. He’s a fun non power 5 conference guy.

I've brought him up a few times. Big arm talent in late round.

I also came in here just now to give Christian Watson some love.

I've overlooked him so far due to NDSU. He might be a 2nd rounder.  6'5" and can fly.  Just glides. Probably will blow up the senior bowl.

I think the Broncos have requested one but it hasn’t been done yet for some reason.  Strange because they’ve already completed interviews with Packers and Bengals coaches, so it shouldn’t be an issue of the Chiefs still playing.

Not making yourself available for interviews is a great way not to get hired.  Pretty sure the Eagles asked permission last year to interview him, and no interview came about at that time either.

Cool. If you like Glass you can get him in the 7th or as an UDFA.

I like Watson but don’t see him rising above the 3rd. He’s on my list of big WRs I’d like, more towards the bottom.

The only trade option would be Watson. He’s young. It’s a win now (after a suspension anyway) and win in the future move.

What has Watson won?

I mentioned Watson and Tolbert in here the other day , 2 very nice WOs  that won’t coast much

Lol.  Yes, they are.   But no worries, Howie will free up money this year and just push more to 2023, rather than take his full dose of medicine.

They are still dealing with the over pays to Cox, Brooks and Graham.
