Middleton doesn’t want to go into the luxury tax so they are gonna go inexpensive route.

I wouldn’t do that. He was just under contract for $2.5 last year and had a meh season for a #3 guy.

There’s a chance they want to add multiple players not just one big name with that money. Also possibility middleton doesn’t want to commit to spending close to that and they could be saving some for a midseason move to add

You can replace BG, and not pick a DE in the 1st. This class is deep enough to pick a quality DE in the 2nd.

With Reddick providing much needed upgrade at pass rush, I can see Howie focusing other positions in the 1st: DT, OL, CB, or WR

BPA. Not passing on good EDGE talent, but no longer have to force it either.

So I was on call today, just catching up.  So would Reddick decrease our need for a DE in the draft or more mean we don't look at the pass rushing LBs like Bonito/Beavers/Luketa to do some variation of the Avery role?

True. I'd still rather go for Ojabo/Johnson in the first. There's some good WR in later rounds too.

I'm in no way giving Howie a pass but I'm defiantly looking at some of the contracts when Doug was here differently. 

 

Doug isn't the Jaguars GM you goof and he certainly had nothing to do with the contracts when he was here.

Sadly I agree, we dominated teams with our O-line and physicality but that was not sustainable as we saw against TB.

Unless we upgrade in a big way at QB, I see us taking a big step back.

With the current roster they will be sellers mid season. Could be one of the worst offenses in baseball with what is already one of the worst defenses, with what is already one of the worst bullpens.
