Good for Marcus Williams. That's a big contract. Didn't want that.

Never thought Williams was realistic anyway

That reported offer is BS.

Has Watson's criteria for a new team been made clear? We've heard coach, OL, and defense. Well Carolina is bad at 2/3. The Saints have an unproven head coach. I think those reports are BS.

What those teams do have in common is a lack of national pressure. I think that's way more apart of this than reporters are talking about.

Carolina makes a lot of sense long term. Can't be emphasized enough that Watson is 26. Tepper is desperate to win and willing to spend the money to do it.

It's also fair to wonder if the Saints are on a downswing. Lots of older veterans, not a lot of money to spend to replace them to make up for the Watson picks. Again, their head coach is majorly unproven.

Those teams are in the south. He’s from the south like McClain said yesterday as why he would want to be in the south.

again where has Carolina shown since 2016 to construct rosters that are good? They’ve really not been good. Their offensive line has been bad for 4 years now. They’ve been spending money and that wasnt the issue. So saying well in the futuee tepper‘s gonna spend money that doesn’t make any difference when you don’t have high picks and you shown that you can’t fix the problems that you have had for multiple years now. Like spending money the Saints have spent money (too much tbh). The browns have spent money the last couple years to get to where they are now.  So do the other teams. And they’ve constructed better rosters

Am I the only one that's disappointed that Dallas didn't re-sign Randy Gregory?

Instead of giving a big contract to a 29 year old, now they get to draft his replacement in a DE-laden draft.

Drafting good players is the one thing that those turds are good at.

I was thinking the same thing.

Eagles absolutely need to address the back 7 in a major way. Offenses aren't stupid, decent QBs they're just gonna take those quick checkdowns all game.

I'd love to get Myles Jack.

Damn. He was my most wanted FA.

I feel like (outside the cowboys screwing up) the NFC East has been quiet.

Although I think Washteam may have traded for a QB.  If so, it didn't make much of a ripple.

lol

Yeah I meant to mention the south too.

Agreed that the Browns match all his reported criteria other than being in the south. They seem like the perfect landing spot.

Picking the Panthers would mean he's conceding certain things he supposedly wants. His call. I'm just saying it's not horrible compared to the Saints.

What the hell do the 49ers have to offer after trading for Lance?

But a North Carolina prep sports insider said it was a done deal to the Panthers.

Hi Howie, it's Les. We have F all draft picks left for the next 2 years.

Would you like a used Ben Skowronek?

Taylor Rapp and a 4th for Andre Dillard?

14m per is what I expected when I saw Reid's deal. I like Williams but will be happy with a Whitehead or Edmunds at 10m or less.

I hope he doesn't hit the incentives.  Would suck to go from $7M down to $8.

Lance would have to be part of the deal to HOU if that has any legs to it.
