They needed a QB, fields was 1st round worthy. Now that head coach is on the hot seat without a QB, if he took fields, he would of bought himself some time.

Fields was not first round worthy.

Only Seattle, Carolina, Indianapolis and the Steelers are teams that I could see drafting a QB in the first round.  Maybe Atlanta and Detroit but doubtful.

Cleveland is a failed trade away from starting Nick Mullens/Case Keenum.

Vikings only have Cousins for a year, perfect time to groom.

Carolina/New Orleans whoever loses out is looking.

Makes sense given Maye signing with NO & Josina saying free agents are waiting on Watson

Lol. They trimmed $75M in salary without cutting anyone and are in position to acquire Watson.

What a world.

Don’t really get what the Saints are doing with that but ok

Yes he was. You’re the first person I’ve encountered to say otherwise. So either you’re right and everyone else is wrong, or?

Good. That’s where we want him to land if it’s not here.

Reddick is an interesting signing.  Either Gannon’s defense will undergo a major paradigm shift in year 2, or they wasted a lot of money.

Hes a 230lb stand-up rusher.  Gannon blitzed less than any DC in the nfl and never moved players around the defense in a creative fashion.

Something’s gotta give.

Reddick is, definitively, the best, most prolific pure pass rusher the Eagles have had in over a decade.  But he’s going to get pounded out of the stadium if they just throw him out there methodically as a 4-3 DE.  And to use him as anything else represents a radical departure from the defensive alignment they used all year under Gannon.

Does Sean Payton un-retire now?

Not at all. That’s worst case scenario besides a NFCE rival.

Or just a huge expansion of the Genard Avery role?

Maybe he gets traded to Cleveland. 🤣

Eagles probably need to address safety quickly or else they’ll be going into the draft with two major holes there. Guessing we see McLeod re-signed

Why? That leaves the Panthers picking Willis at 6 and causes a ripple effect for more QBs to be taken earlier than they should.

Gannon runs a 3-4 under with a pass rushing olb. Reddick fits that role we failed at last year.

No doubt Reddick gives him options. At the very most basic deployment: Sam in our 5-2 against 21 personnel and was de 9 DE on perceived passing downs.

I would expect a little more creativity though.

Yeah, overpay for Mathieu. I think that’s the move. Bring back McLeod too. I still think they should draft a safety high after that also

Because the Saints have a good roster and play the Eagles in 2022. There’s nothing set in stone what happens at #6 or how that affects the draft. Best case scenario is the 2nd or 3rd best QB in the conference goes to a trash team like Falcons or Seahawks.

I don’t think Mathieu is going to come here.

Agree to disagree

I guess Jabrill Peppers is left.

He’s not a 2 high type safety

looks like baker is likely out in Cleveland

Looks like he should be out in Cleveland. Man up and keep the emo BS to yourself. Playing hurt doesn’t matter if you’re the worst guy on the field.
