There are still some players out there that could help quite a bit.

And prices will soon start to drop, as landing spots evaporate and teams with lots of money have spent it.

You should come close in FA a number of times if you do it right - set your reservation price BEFORE free agency begins (based on your evaluation of the cap and the player's value) and stick with that price even if it means losing out on a player. Without that discipline, you end up with an overpriced dream team.

I think Howie learned his lesson in 2018-19, you can't let emotions (we won, let's go back!) cloud your judgement - trust your evaluations and stick to your guns.

I just want them to sign a receiver so I can see some mock drafts without us wasting one of our 1sts on one.

If Watson doesn't end up in CAR you might need to take a deep breath when the Jets get on the clock at #4.  Howie might get Pickett on the brain.

Why? What does Pickett offer that makes him a top 20 pick, much less a top 4.

Wentz had elite QB upside, and in 2017 looked like he was on the way there. Then he blew out his knee and was never the same (shades of McNabb after 2005).

3 more years to enjoy Merrill before he's replaced with a female play by play.

My vote is for Rickie Ricardo

Curious that Gronk hasn't re-signed with the Bucs yet.  I wonder if Brady still plans in making a push for a trade to the 49ers.

Never know truth to that ,Florio made it up

no need to sign Gronk yet

Not a chance he trades to 4 for that carny-handed fake-sliding dbag.

Until he is traded somewhere else I won't believe it.  The Broncos were never mentioned for Russell Wilson, it was never reported that he would waive his no trade clause to go there, but here we are and Wilson is a Bronco.

According to this SI story, SEA and DEN began working on the trade details in early February because Wilson told the Chickens that DEN was his first (and only) choice.  He chose to keep it to himself, but DEN was always the trade destination.  Wilson didn't entertain meetings with any other teams.

I don't think Howie would allow (figuratively) Watson to be meeting with other teams and giving the Texans offers if he had real intentions of brokering a trade for him -- or Watson had any intention of going to Philly.  Howie would have pulled the trigger already.

I’d be VERY curious to see the 16 QBs you have ahead of him. Cousins and Dak’s weapons compared to the crap Carr has had to work with is laughable. I’m just looking to get an actual starting QB who can read a defense and make all the throws here. Hurts doesn’t hit that threshold. Minshew does, but Carr would be an upgrade to Minshew. He’s middle of the road in the AFC but not in the NFC. But I also get not wanting to trade draft collateral for an older vet who doesn’t put you on par with the Chiefs, Bills and Packers, etc. We are stuck in QB purgatory.

Definitely a serious upgrade to a team that barely had sacks last year. But, agreed…we need way more.

Carr has had many good WRs in his career and has never performed on the level Prescott did his rookie year when his receivers were garbage.

1. Rodgers

2. Mahomes

3. Brady

4. Watson

5. Stafford

6. Wilson

7. Allen

8. Herbert

9. Burrow

10. Tannehill

11. Prescott

12. Murray

13. Jackson

14. Cousins

15. Garoppolo

Im putting Carr at 16 tentatively waiting to see what Max Jones gives us next year. He’s above Wentz, Mayfield

What would Carr have given us last year? We probably beat NYG in that game Hurts flopped, likely beat LV as they wouldn’t have Derek Carr, our D still gets buried by Dallas twice, we finish 11-6 and get blown out by TB in the first round of the playoffs. He’s not a difference maker, it’s not worth the effort over finding a real difference maker

Are you joking ??

Yep.

I honestly cant fault him either.

from what I remember he was a very very big reach for the Eagles. He came into a hostile city with a mess at QB and Head coach and was asked to do something way above his head.

We always "what if we got Jefferson" but look at it the other way. What if Reagor was selected where he was supposed to be. an early 2nd round/mid 2nd on a team where he had a chance to bea #2 or #3 and grow with a decent QB

Long winded way of saying, It's not Reagors fault he's a #3 drated a round early to be a #1

Reagor is not a #3.  He's a guy who doesn't belong in the league.   #3s work to get better.   Reagor expects for it to just happen and everyone to wait for the same miracle he's waiting for.

Reagor should give back the money if being drafted too high is hurting his self-esteem.  If you don't want the responsibility of being a first round pick, then don't accept the check.  The two go hand in hand.  You can't have the one you want without the one you don't.

Think he should be higher? He’s not as efficient with the football, nearly led the league in interceptions, his yards per attempt are lower than any other QB in the top 10 (he couldn’t even reach 7.0 this year), he’s the least accurate QB in the top 10. I’m giving Wilson the benefit of the doubt due to his thumb injury, and Watson due to his… circumstances, but beyond the divisional round performance He had a very up and down year this year if you recall.

Do you bite the bullet, take the hit and call a team like the Bears(no wide receivers) or Texans and see if you can get a 3rd or 4th?

Haha!

I really hate how the NFL is turning more and more into the Arena League just on a bigger field.

Why not just put up some nets on either side of the goal posts and if the defending team wants, they can catch the ball and return it...  it would make missed FGs so much more exciting.   Why not let the offense have a receiver moving towards the LOS at the snap of the ball?  Why not just cut the OL down to 3 and put 7 players into the pass patterns?

Defense matters.  Defense should matter.  And the next rule change will be that after one team scores in OT right before OT ends, that the other team gets 10 minutes on the clock too.  Or, they eliminate the clock entirely and it's just a play clock and downs that matter.  How about we go to the college rule, start at the 25, but FGs aren't allowed at all?   Or maybe just two point conversion attempt after two point conversion attempt.  A series of 3 tries, and then shut death after that, like the NHL Shoot-out nonsense.    Or in OT we just go to a 7 on 7 drill?   So many options of how to 'improve' OT.  Where does the line get drawn?

The Eagles made an extremely competitive offer for Williams, multiple league sources told Inside The Birds, but were unable to stave off the Baltimore Ravens, who agreed with Williams on a reported $70 million pact over five years, a $14 million annual average that Roseman typically balks at for the position.

One source told ITB that the money was essentially the same, but Williams simply chose the Ravens, a franchise with a long and rich history of providing blue-chip talent at Williams’ position.

Uneventful day?  Eagles signed our #3 S and our 3rd best WR (well Reagor and JJAW make the latter a low hill to scale).

You lost me on those 3 being where they are. You have Tannehill in the top 10. I do get your last sentence though, and you're probably right there.

OT rule. Best out of 5 free throws on a fisher price hoop

How would this years QBs stack up against last draft?

You know I have to do it @Ace Nova..........................I though you told me teams can not do this.
