Weidl and Patullo also at the Georgia pro day.

Are they not doing Path to the Draft this year?  I remember it starting when pro days did.

Even more interesting

Ryan attended the William Penn Charter School,[3] in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania[/wuote]

And people think eagles fans are delusional.

Matt Ryan would be the ultimate "bridge QB".  $40.5M dead cap in 2022, down to $15.6M dead in 2023 and UFA in 2024.

Howie would have his work cut out for him trying to rework those cap hits of $48.7 and $43.6 though.  Not sure how much guaranteed money he's still owed.

I don't see the point of a bridge QB for the Eagles. If you aren't going to win a SB in 2022, why pay more to still not win? Just don't seriously contend with Hurts. He costs you very little.

Who knows, maybe he plays a little better and someone is foolish enough to trade a premium pick for him in 2023.

I'm not surprised he hasn't had a huge market but a little surprised that I have not heard Barnett's name mentioned once.  Really slow moving DE free agency in general but literally nothing about him.

Actually, the team trading for Matt Ryan would have the following cap hits

2022 - 8.75 million

2023 - 20.5 million ( not sure if the 7.5 million roster bonus carries over to the new team )

Also not sure if these numbers are before or after the restructure that they may or may not have done.

Well -- if the Falcons land Watson, I guess Ryan would go to Carolina then.

Can someone photoshop a bong mask on this guy and send it ESPN please? Guy is gonna go too 10 and it makes me sad

Trayvon Walker at #3 is no longer absurd.

He's definitely moved ahead of Thibodeaux, and should be top 4 with Hutchinson, Egonwu, Neal.

NFL.com has him at 6.33. Eventual starter. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

It was later reported by Clay Harbor that the Eagles were in on Christian Kirk but ultimately left the table empty-handed, leading to that huge contract with the Jaguars

just read this little bit of info that we had some interest in kirk

There'd been prior reports of interest, but definitely not at $18M per. Enjoy Jax!

The Phillies signed Schwarber. They're 10 million under the tax. Bryant estimated to get a contract of about 20 million per. The price to go 10 million over the tax?

2 million. That's pennies for a billionaire. No one wants to hear they can't do that. And it would only be for a year since some contracts come off the books after 2022 and the tax threshold increases in 2023.

I've been beating the drum for this guy for months, was even told at some points he's not a first rounder. I'm seeing top 6 at this point.

Literally WTF.  This makes no sense from either side.

First, for the Falcons, I love Watson, I think he's an MVP caliber player, but he's not worth that much.

For Deshaun,  why in the world would he want to go to Atlanta after they've traded away all of their receivers, a ton of high draft picks, etc. to get him?  They literally are in cap hell (because of him), no chance of signing any skill players to help him, and no draft picks to use.

Wait.  Actually, maybe this should happen.  Screw Deshaun for saying no to Philly.  Good luck with the dirty birds Deshaun!

I’d argue of all the teams mentioned during this whole thing that atlanta is by far the worst option. They have no wide receivers as gage left in FA, Ridley is suspended for the year (tried to deal him). their offensive line stinks on espn’s pass block win rate they are 28th and 26th in run. their defense also stinks as bottom half of the league in pass and rush defense and bottom 5 in ppg. They have Kyle Pitts on offense. I’d say Patterson but he’s currently a free agent. The only thing the falcons have besides Kyle Pitts is Arthur blank is a good owner. Even if they sign will fuller or Robinson that offense is still not good. He’d basically be on the Houston Texans 2.0 especially if they deal 3 firsts and the Texans ask for pitts. And that’s not an easy fix for atlanta who cap wise would be strapped and who wouldn’t have the picks to make up for it.

Help me out with this. For a player like Watson with a full no trade clause... If he is ONLY willing to be traded to team X, and team X knows that and offers Houston a ham sammich for him, then what? If Watson can force his way to whichever team he wants, what option does Houston have other than accepting whatever offer they are given?
