If the Eagles trade the barn for Watson he will be in the same situation as Texans where he has no defense to play with. How long until he is then requesting a trade out of here? This is all hypothetical of course because Watson does not want to come here in the first place. His oline here would be a MASSIVE upgrade from anything he ever had in Houston. So, let's compare his best season which was 2020 with Cooks, Fuller, no TEs of mention, David Johnson and Duke Johnson: 382/544--70.2% completions--4823 yds--8.9 ypc--33 TDs--7 INT--112.4 rating; plus 90 rushes for 444 yds (4.9 avg) and 3 TDs (he was sacked 49 times) to Dak's best season which was last year with Cooper, Lamb, Wilson, Gallup, Schultz, Zeke, Pollard: 410/596--68.8% completion--4449 yds--7.5 ypc--37 TDs--10 INT--104.2 rating; plus 48 rushes for 146 yds (3.0 avg) and 1 TD (he was only sacked 30 times) So, tell me...who's better?

Honestly I think Dak's better. Coming off an absolutely grewsome injury and he has consistently won in this league. The only impressive statistical season that Watson put forth was in a complete losing effort winning only 4 games.

Maybe even Wagner depending on how much he has left and the cost. A question for everyone...If Watson goes to Atlanta how would you feel about Ryan for a few years until they can find the guy? At this point he isn't anything special, if he ever was, but at least he can properly throw the ball. If you know they don't value LBs what makes you think they will sign Jack? I think Jack would be worth a flyer but his play has been inconsistent in Jax. I think Wagner doesn't fix the issue. I hope they consider drafting a player. Matt Ryan should get traded to the Colts.

There are other people out there, and while it's not clear, it will be alright. Stick to what you feel is value for Watson, and if it crosses that line, focus on the defense, as you said. Howie could blow it, but he also has an opportunity to fix some major holes. Howie is the leader of the pack. 5 minutes ago, Cheesteakitis said: if watson knew all you people were riding his junk this hard he wouldn’t have needed those massage parlors I think the lawsuits were because he didn't go to parlors.

March 16, 20223 yr In what universe is Watson an elite QB? The fact he reportedly wants to play in a dome and doesn't want to play in a cold climate raises red flags. He's a good QB, probably in the #6-10 range, but he's been pretty much meh in his 3 PO games. 7 points his first game, and garbage stats against KC, had one good game, against the Bills. He pads his QB ratings by holding the ball too long, those sacks aren't just on his OL. And he's played with a dominant WR in Hopkins. He's not Mahomes, Allen or Herbert in terms of talent. Nor Rodgers or Brady in terms of production.

Hope. Even if they let me down a thousand times, I'll always hope they come to their senses and see that linebackers are kind of important and go get at least 1 NFL caliber LB.

Sure, let's discount his crappy oline, lack of weapons and scrub defense compared to Dakota's. He's had a better season than Dakota with a much crappier team around him. Period. 2 minutes ago, austinfan said: In what universe is Watson an elite QB? The fact he reportedly wants to play in a dome and doesn't want to play in a cold climate raises red flags. And Watson's best season was 2020 without Hopkins.
