Trying to help with your important research. Have you ever watched "Guinea Pig: Flower of Flesh and Blood"? That's definitely on my list of most disturbing movies I've ever seen. The plot doesn't even matter, the whole thing is about a guy dismembering a woman for about 50 minutes.

I guess any movie in the Guinea Pig series must be equally horrible.

I have honestly been looking for all of these for awhile. They are very difficult to find - not streaming anywhere.  Yeah - I’ve heard they are some of the most disturbing films ever made.

Since you guys are better than google at this stuff, I need some help with a movie title.

It's about this guy who takes his two kids camping in the desert in a camper. I'm pretty sure the mom is out of the picture either a divorce or she died or something. Anyway some child-sized demons or aliens or something comes and terrorizes them. I think it was released around 2017ish. Sound familiar to anyone?

"They Come Knocking” ring a bell?  I remember this one being pretty good.

Yep, that was it! Yeah, I remember it being pretty disturbing. Wanted to give it a rewatch but couldn't figure out the name or enough details to hit on a google search.

Apparently they turned it into a Hulu TV series that got pretty bad reviews.

I have the second one. It doesn't have the best quality, but in case you want it, I can gladly send it to you via We Transfer or something.

It's true.  He once recommended the Teabag Terror to me.  I found the video on youtube and it was him and a Great Dane randomly teabagging homeless people sleeping in the park

I saw Maxxxine and Longlegs last night.  Both are worth watching.

Longlegs was a really cool blend of a serial killer police procedural and supernatural horror.

Maxxxine is a modern American giallo but also a satire of Hollywood mixed with some Estus Pirkle christian exploitation movies.  It was really fun.

The Strangers Chapter 1 was probably the worst reboot I’ve ever seen in history

If you loved the first one and wanted to see a paint by numbers recreation with absolutely no tension I have the movie for you.

Watched Terrifier 1 and 2 after having seen All Hallows Eve forever ago. Actually pretty impressed with the physical fx and how far Leone was able to take it. Made Bone Tomohawk look like baby stuff. Quite disgusting  and enjoyable.

Who would have guessed a Renny Harlin directed reboot would be awful?  Good thing they green lit and shot three of them at once so there will be two more POS movies coming through the pipeline, like it or not.

Saw the trailer for the English version of Speak No Evil - looks good.  Will be interesting to see if they make any changes from the original version.

Since the trailer showed about 95% of the movie's plot points, about the only thing that could possibly be changed is the ending, which is the whole reason the movie is getting remade, so I doubt that happens.  Seriously, production companies need to fire everyone in their marketing departments.  These imbeciles are ruining movies before they hit the theaters.

I saw the trailer for this when I went to see "In a Violent Nature.”  Couldn’t believe they did a reboot this quick.  Was the first such a success that they just had to remake it in English that quick?

Not sure, but yeah the original is only like 2 years old.  I do think casting McAvoy was a good choice - that dude plays a creep as well as anyone.

I just saw "Tarot,” not expecting much because I’ve only heard terrible things, but I thought it was pretty good. It’s a fun movie, and I would put it in the categories like Truth or Dare, Smile, and Ready or Not. Dumb college kids wake up a demon entity and sheet hits the fan.  I thought the paranormal entitty/entities in this movie were really good.

"I Saw the TV Glow" - WTF did I just watch?  Somehow I was drawn into this movie.  It was pretty awesome visually.

Spoiler

However, it was not as good as I've heard/read.  I like weird, but this was beyond weird to the point it was pretty stupid and not scary at all.  I'd like to sit down with the director and ask:

Me and my wife were looking for a movie the other night and watched the trailer to this. I said we didn't have enough drugs to commit to it.

I also just did some research into this movie and found the following.  Wish I looked this up beforehand:

Spoiler

1) This movie is supposed to be a metaphor for being trans.  👀

2) This director also made "We're all Going to the World's Fair," and it makes so much sense.  I left that movie asking "wtf did I just watch?"

3) This is the director.  Absolute smokeshow!
