I thought Predator Badlands was fine but hate it as a Predator movie. I don't like that they humanized the predators and gave them a family dynamic of dad being mad about his little runt son. I also hate that they copied the formula of put some cute little creature in it and give it a ton of screen time to sell toys.

I get why they did it. To make money. Prey was a lot better though, imo, because at it's roots it was more of a Predator movie.

Agree on your take. I loved prey and badlands is pretty good but, not a true predator movie

That looks fantastic. I read from some horror nutbag I trust on IG that this was worth the hype. I am especially excited about this one below - I saw a preview for this maybe over a year ago, and I've been waiting.......patiently............pantsless.

Primate was pretty good - couple gnarly kills and the score was amazing - reminded me of Halloween 3 which is one of my favorites

I'm seeing Lee Cronin's the Mummy tomorrow night. Can't wait - I heard it's all kinds of f'd up!

I couldn't get through the show.

The original movies were hit or miss. I liked some parts, hated others. They did a soft reboot to make the second half of the Mila Jovovich movies more like the games. The last reboot that made it just like the games was ok but the casting was just weird for some characters. This looks promising and I'm hoping its in the universe but has no tie to the games. I think my biggest problem is all the movies before tried to do a half game remake half new content and it just doesn't work. Go full on one way or the other.

This lives up to the hype. Really awesome movie with some of the most cringe f'd up scenes out there. This is not fun for the whole family. There were people that walked out of the theater at certain parts because it's so gross.

I didn't realize this guy directed the newer Evil Dead movies, and there are many scenes where it's obvious. It's also similar to Sam Raimi's style from the original Evil Deads and Drag me to Hell. I thought some of these scenes could have been left out, because this isn't a funny movie at all, whereas Evil Dead and Drag me to Hell have really funny parts.

Saw Ready or Not 2 is for rent on Prime. Has anyone heard seen this. Really like the 1st one.

I recently saw Dolly on Shudder. It's not bad.....not bad at all. I recommend. Some other ones that look great that are coming out soon. Should be a good summer for horror ****ots!

Is the sequel ever better than the first. Wait till it’s free or cheap rental. No where near as good as original, IMO. Wife doesn’t like horror movies. That could be because the 1st one I took her to was Chainsaw Massacre at a drive-in theater. She’ll see Sci-Fi with me once in a while. Of course that means I have to see her "girly " movies as compensation. Like "The Devil wears Prada 2” Ugh !

Just finished watching this movie and I liked it. This had just the right amount of psycho, disturbing, unsettling craziness to attract my liking in a horror film. Very surprising that it was disturbing, I figured here we go it’s gonna be another dissapointing horror film but the girl who played the crazy girlfriend absolutely killed her role, she was great. Would recommend
