you really should. it's excellent.

I hated it the first time I saw. Bunch of idiots arguing about when to shoot waterpistols. "THEY'RE IN THE CAR, MORON!"

Saw it a decade later and enjoyed it immensely.

I honestly think I never wanted to watch MASH because it would come on during Phillies' rain delays when I was a kid. I'd hear that intro and just be angry the game was delayed.

I've seen Rocky Horror -- I find it to be stupid as hell.

Last year, on a flight to Philly, I sat next to a Jamie Farr, who played Klinger on the show. He was a very nice guy, though he needed some help with his meal and bags. Was going to some fan convention in Philly.

I've only seen bits of Rocky Horror and have had no desire to see the whole thing. Musicals in general do not interest me.

Tim Curry is pretty great though.

M*A*S*H went on at my bedtime when I was growing up. So when I got to see it was like watching the forbidden. It really holds up, especially given the context it was set during the Korean War while commenting on the Vietnam War.

Tim Curry is iconic.

Rocky Horror is just a fun show for the 16-20 crowd. Really have to go to a theatre and do the whole thing. It’s a mini circus and everyone is in the act. High school level fun.

Cumberland Valley School District's school board in Central PA canceled a guest speaker for anti-bullying at their school because of his "lifestyle". He is gay.

The appearance by Maulik Pancholy, a one-time cast member of the popular NBC comedy "30 Rock,” was canceled on an 8-0 vote by the Cumberland Valley School Board after the motion was brought up by member Bud Shaffner from Hampden Township.

"He is proud of his lifestyle, and I don’t think that should be imposed upon our students - at any age.”

No one named Pancholy during Monday’s debate; directors steadfastly referred to him in the third person.

wonder if these bigots will be ushered out in the next elections. if they happen like they do here they're odd-year elections that don't coincide with other federal/state races.

I read that it was because he was a political activist, and that was what got him refused. Probably about the gay stuff, but I can see telling activists to go pound sand.

Oh no a gay political activist won't be invited to a public school to lecture middle school kids. how will they learn now?

@ToastrelPancholy’s activism is anti-bullying towards Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders

In 2014, Pancholy was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs). As a Commissioner, he co-founded the anti-bullying campaign #ActToChange - designed to meet the unique needs of AAPI youth. Today, acttochange.org is a national 501 (c)(3) nonprofit which Pancholy continues to Chair.

To join the cause visit acttochange.org and take the pledge to end bullying.

Anti-bullying? We certainly can't have that.

I actually started liking the music first. I was learning to play guitar, and a friend showed me "Time Warp" and "Sweet Transvestite".

Yeah I heard the music first thru a high school girlfriend and her gang. We then all went to a West Chester U theatre several times to watch the full production.
