It's 100% true. Dems wouldn't stick with a nominee that was convicted of a felony. They've forced people out for even the implication of a crime or, in Franken's case, doing absolutely nothing. Hell, Republicans wouldn't have stood for it up until a decade ago. And it's not because Dems are particularly virtuous. It's because they're not so stupid that they believe their candidate could win in spite of it. Republicans have lied to themselves so much that they believe he'll win not in spite of it, but because of it. You idiots will never learn your lesson.
