That doesn't count, since Fox is fair and balanced.

Maybe, but it's also possible that it would have. There's little doubt that their actions directly benefitted one candidate though which, at the very least, makes it an enormous in-kind contribution.

I find it extremely unfortunate that our media has gone so partisan that they won’t even report on actual and clearly newsworthy events.

You and me both. Refusing to report on it was only half of it though. Actively blocking other people from reporting/discussing it was the other half.

Um, no, Fox didn't do that, they just literally coordinated directly with the President everyday on messaging.

He's literally taking orders from the Chief of Staff on where they need to get out the vote days before the election.  And he says "yes sir" after getting his orders.

damnit, you beat me to it.

And the dems literally coordinate with all the other news outlets and tech companies to get their message out. We aren't talking about biased media, you dolt, we're talking about actively suppressing damaging stories through censorship. Can you really not see the difference.

  Dude, Hannity was coordinating the get out and vote effort with the President's office in those text messages.  He's taking marching orders directly and using them to gin up votes for one side.  And this is after 4 years of Fox suppressing negative stories about Trump and pumping him up as a God.  If your concern is the media manipulating the electorate to sway the vote, then your whole argument is worthless.

Trump lost.  It was a year a half ago.  You sound like a bish.  Move on.

Remember when Hillary's campaign did the exact same thing and told liberal news outlets what to report...and liberals here said so what?

Yeah.

Also CNN host on air saying they're doing all they can for Hillary to improve her poll numbers.

When people bring up media bias on the left, you joke that no kidding there's media bias everyone knows that.  Fox is Republican propaganda, and a lot of liberal outlets are Democrat propaganda.  That's how it is, very little are in the middle are true journalism.

No, but um....cool, I guess?

We're talking about the 2020 election being swayed by the media.  Republicans are crying that the left did it when they suppressed the Hunter Biden nothing burger, which, for some unexplained reason, would've thrown the election to Trump.  I'm pointing out that Fox was a direct extension of the Trump administration and regularly coordinated with them on messaging, suppressing stories and pumping pro-Trump propaganda out 24/7.  So, no, the media manipulation of the liberal media had no more of an impact on the election than media manipulation of the right wing media.

I'm struggling to understand your point here.  Are you just repeating my position back to me or making some kind of counter argument?

Van: Hurrdurr media is biased so wut?

Me: I'm not talking about media bias. I'm talking about media, ex-US government intelligence officials, and social media companies all coordinating to deplatform and suppress a completely real piece of news to benefit Biden's election chances.

Just pointing out the double standard.  You say "meh" to left media bias and everyone knows all media is biased, then go on about right media bias.

I'm balancing it out.  Kz and Ipiggles were having a circle jerk over left wing media bias, so I pointed out to them how bad right wing media bias is.

That's fair. Fair and balanced!

Fox is nothing but GOP propaganda and creating outrage and culture war attention.

wow...really breaking new ground here. media bias exists. :o

Well, that was a fun little sidebar, but now we can get back to talking about how liberals are OK with public school employees sexually grooming children.

He’s suggesting that you don’t do much specific active pushing back on the left wing media as compared to your push back against the right.
