Personally, I avoid literally any discussion or disclosure of information about my personal life with students, because kids are weird and they will literally use anything against you in ways you can't even imagine. I don't even understand why colleagues have pictures on their desks of family or SO's. Students, especially middle and high schoolers, will ask you some weird questions if you give them the opportunity. I keep everything concealed, and they still find ways to create awkward situations, in which case I just give non-answers or change the subject. Good example with a colleague of mine. Some kids found pictures of him and his family online, so they made t-shirts with the picture on the front, and on the back, they literally had the address and coordinates of his house. Admin. had to get involved. Kids are creepy AF, and a lot of teachers are oversharers. Some kid a few weeks ago, who often asks weird questions and makes a a point to shout hello to me at every opportunity to the point of it being excessive and kind of offputting, guessed correctly the car that I drive and told me, "I followed you for a little while when you left the school the other day, you pulled into Giant."
May 5, 20223 yr Author Story, yes? Video of her whining about being fired, no. One less groomer to worry about.

May I suggest you go full burka? Solves many of your issues. 😊

Almost as if they position themselves to be around young children for their career? While I do have respect for some educators, there's no doubt that the occupation disproportionately attracts liberals and all that they represent. These are people that prioritize having three months off to having high earnings. They're lazy, entitled. Most of them never hold jobs outside of education so pretty much their entire existence revolves around schooling so they never get real career perspective and don't understand much outside of where they've spent their entire lives - the public school system. As we've all seen, college campuses have gone completely off the rails and are churning out brainwashed lemmings at an incredible rate, so the new generation of teachers are among the most devout to retarded liberalism. And yeah, a lot of trans people are attracted to the profession so they can groom future members of the lgbtq community.
