The GeMS/Center for Gender Surgery program only offers surgery to patients 18 and up.

I've referred a few kids up there.  Most have just ended up utilizing the social/community support centers. 2 have decided ultimately they weren't trans after talking to the psychologists. I think I have 2 that went on a puberty blockers.

But if you want to "line me up against a wall" you're welcome to try.

lol the fact that two "decided they weren't trans" should let you know how absolutely horrific all of this crap is, and that, yes, mutilating children is despicable. But great story about puberty blockers, doc.

Yup, it tells me that the psychologists and support teams there did not pressure them to do anything and were able to help them through  confusing time in their development without pushing any kind of agenda.

Meanwhile the "intervention" on the rest of them were completely social or reversible medical intervention.  

But yes, calling for their execution is definitely a reasonable response to such horrific mutilation.  Excellent points as always.

While I agree, it's hard to take the complaints about breast augmentation surgery from these idiots seriously when that has been an option for teens with parental consent for decades for purely aesthetic reasons from plastic surgeons.

All of a sudden a center offers it for a very limited group of trans kids while requiring written documentation of persistent gender dysphoria  from a doctor, psychiatrist, patient and parent and it's a pressing issue worth executing doctors over?  I call BS. They fell on their face with the fake "lopping off genitals" headlines and are trying to latch on to some other issue. 

And for the record I would not write a consent note for breast augmentation for a patient if asked. Unless it was solely to piss off KZ.

Because implants/reduction/augmentation surgeries are so much better than partial tissue removal?  I'm sure you had the same gusto for your protests of the plastic surgeons who work on kids for the past several decades. 

Such a shame for you that I can continue to refer kids at will there and you can't do anything about it but bish and whine in a drunken stupor in your basement. Must be real frustrating. Oh well.

True story-  I volunteered last saturday to help out with a sale for the group home for some mentally challenged adults.  2 of the three adults living there had jobs. One had the same job for 25+ years.
