How so? Eagles just agreed to a contract extension with Brown already. They couldn't have had that done within minutes during the draft. It was the plan all along. Titans ironically had their eyes on Burks and they got him. Worked out for both teams.

AJ Brown. Howie bumped his head in the draft room right before the decision. A slight moment of clarity while little birdies tweeted around his head. 
6'1, 225, 24 years old, and a proven commodity. I likes me some AJ Brown trades. 🏆

It's not about one player. I like what we got out of the deal but we got a ready now guy when I don't think we are ready now team. I'd rather have more developmental type players and hope they become ready now players. That's all.

Scenarios are planned all the time prior to the draft. Some scenarios are processed quickly too.  I just felt they wanted Williams there, regardless of Baltimore wanting Davis. The AJ move may have been a plan B entertained prior to the draft and then executed. We’ll never know.

compared to what hollywood went for, AJ is a steal....and we got one of the best D players in the draft (the guy had an unreal score Calvin Johnsonesque in RAS).....not saying he will be Aaron Donald but he can be disruptive,,...atleast we didnt fall for the WR run...would have been pissed had we got Burks or god forbid Dotson "with those picks"....those were reaches lol
