And seems there has be a sharp rise in gay sex anyway the past 20 years. Also, I have never understood the excuses people use to justify abortion, especially the financial one in the US. I grew up poor, so what? All of my siblings and myself rose up out of poverty to Middle class. Mainly because we were taught, you can do anything you want to do in life, you just have to work for it. We didn't envy rich people, or play the victim. I can't wait to see you break your hips pivoting to something else even more stupid when Red States start limiting contraceptives. But let's take it at face value. Contraceptives are simply not fail safe. Women's contraceptives have all kinds of problems. For women who want to be sexually active from 16-35 and then have a baby when they are economically and professionally stable, the pill or implant is a double edged option because using it all your life will affect your ability to have one later. Don't even get me started on the diaphram, my wife got the Mirena Crash so bad we thought she had ALS. Men + condoms + casual sex is a recipe for disaster. Sexual liberation and abortions are wedded partners, you can't have one without the other, at least not yet, because modern contraceptives are still imperfect in many ways.

Shutting down abortions will 1000000% for sure cause less casual sex. How you cannot connect these dots is beyond the pale of stupid.

June 27, 20223 yr so, out of curiosity, what does Roe v. Wade actually say? what was the original ruling? and i dont want a "well basically...." answer. i want someone from either side to tell me what we are actually arguing about.
June 27, 20223 yr BTW, also notice how the exact same people who have been telling us that pay inequality for women doesn't exist. The same ones telling us they simply "don't have the same career choices as men", are now telling us they shouldn't have access to abortion either. If that isn't a full blown call for the oppression of women's rights to economic prosperity & independence then WTF is?

It protected abortion as a right nationwide. Which is why conservatives have spent 49 years trying to get rid of it.

Anyway, here: Quote Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States generally protects a pregnant woman's liberty to choose to have an abortion.

Plenty of people are talking about the nuances in the equal pay topic that also agree women should have choice. Your post is a classic example of simplistic binary thinking.

Illegal abortions were common before 1973. Obviously after 1973 they became uncommon. We’re just going back to an era where women will get illegal abortions again. if you want to actually argue about case law either enroll in law school or get on twitter and argue with some of the (real) lawyers on there. Or as a last resort you could PM Procus.
June 27, 20223 yr Leftists attacking and then getting destroyed by police has been fun to watch this weekend: lmao
June 27, 20223 yr Man, the left really was out there attacking police in multiple cities over the weekend. This is the violence we've come to expect from them, sadly.
June 27, 20223 yr https://www.cnn.com/2022/06/27/entertainment/billie-joe-armstrong-roe-v-wade-intl-scli/index.html Quote Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has told fans at a concert that he intends to renounce his United States citizenship following the US Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade -- a controversial move that eliminates the federal constitutional right to abortion nationwide. During a performance as part of the band's Hella Mega tour at the London Stadium in the UK on Friday, Armstrong expressed his frustration as he told the crowd: "F America. I'm f***king renouncing my citizenship. I'm f'ing coming here." He went on to say there's "too much f'ing stupid in the world to go back to that miserable f'ing excuse for a country," before urging fans to be prepared, saying: "You're going to get a lot more of me in the coming days."
