This topic has gained enough attention and exposure that the Dems actually do need to distance themselves from it.  They need to tell that loony fringe to shut the F up and get back in their lane.

No argument from me.  I'm always good with telling the far left to F off.  Not only are their positions often ridiculous, but they're poosays to boot, so the electoral fallout is minimal.

Let's see, what has a bigger impact on Americans' lives... the things printed on the outside of a bud light cans, or laws like these?

Because of Florida abortion laws, she carried her baby to term knowing he would die

She said her pregnancy was proceeding normally until November, when, at 24 weeks, an ultrasound showed that the fetus did not have kidneys and that she had hardly any amniotic fluid. Not only was the baby sure to die, her doctors told her, but the pregnancy put her at especially high risk of preeclampsia, a potentially deadly complication.

Her doctors told her it was too late to terminate the pregnancy in Florida, which bans nearly all abortions after 15 weeks. The only options were to go out of state to get an abortion or to carry the baby to full term, and Dorbert and her husband didn’t have the money to travel.

What followed was an agonizing 13 weeks of carrying a baby she knew would die and worrying about her own health. It left Dorbert with severe anxiety and depression for the first time in her life.

Florida law allows abortions after 15 weeks if two doctors confirm the diagnosis of a fatal fetal abnormality in writing, but doctors in Florida and states with similar laws have been hesitant to terminate such pregnancies for fear someone will question whether the abnormality was truly fatal. The penalties for violating the law are severe: Doctors can go to prison and face heavy fines and legal fees.

Abortion is healthcare.

Quote

The Tennessee woman would end up needing a lifesaving emergency hysterectomy, ending her opportunity to give birth to more children, after she says she was denied medically necessary abortion care at a hospital in her home state for life-threatening complications earlier in her pregnancy.

"[My doctor] told me I needed to do the surgery. If I didn't, I could die; the baby could die," Hollis said.

In August, Hollis found out that she did have a cesarean scar pregnancy, with the pregnancy bulging out of her uterus, and a placenta accreta -- a serious pregnancy complication in which the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall and part or all of the placenta then remains attached to the uterine wall during delivery. The condition can cause severe blood loss after delivery, according to the Mayo Clinic.

"I [could] hemorrhage, because that was already bulging out," Hollis said. "It was scary."

Hollis had been offered abortion care since the ban had not yet gone into effect. But when she reached out to her OB-GYN to ask for the care on Aug. 24, it was too late. That was the day Tennessee's trigger ban prohibiting all abortions went into effect.

Get ready for more horrifying stories like this. This situation is completely avoidable if we'd just listen to doctors, instead of politicians.

Abortion is murder for convenience over 95% of the time.

Convenience?  Really?  You think it's just that easy to make this sort of decision?  I call BS.  You're not a woman and therefore you have no f'ng clue what's it like to be faced with an unwanted pregnancy, or one that is not progressing normally.  If you think it's so convenient, try keeping your D in your pants!!!!  Let's see how convenient that makes you feel.

It really is none of your business what it's for. It could be 100% for convenience and it STILL wouldn't be your business.

There is nothing convenient involving abortion.

Yeah those are statistical facts.  Abortion for an actual medical need is extremely rare, which is why these cases are so exceptional that they make headlines.

And I love the immediate "youre not a woman" critique.  Go ahead and point out all the other men in here who cant express their opinions on the matter.

Also, how do you feel about transgenderism?

Can your neighbor survive outside of your body?

It's just a piss poor dig your feet in attitude that you know nothing about.  To think a woman wants to kill a baby for her own convenience. Simply not true of all the women I've known in my life and how they feel about the subject.  Most all of us Catholic too, by the way. The government has no right telling me what I can and can't do with my own body.  Not quite sure why you can't grasp that.  Oh, that's right, 'cause you're a flaming Republican who cares more about unborn life than a life that's already here.

What difference does that make?

Can a 30 day old child survive on its own?

How about a 3 month old?

Maybe you shouldn't draw the line where "human can exist on its own" considering every single human ever born required months and months of direct care in order to survive.   Its still a human life, trust the science

You dont know the least thing about me but you wanna call me a dumb hick.

And sorry but it is convenience. The vast majority of abortions are because a baby would interfere with education, or the mother doesnt think its financially convenient, or the mother doesnt want a lifestyle change, etc.

Thats called convenience and not medical necessity.

I've never ignored a poster here or anywhere else until this scumbag.

Glad to see my decision is correct.

Yeah you cant handle any sort of differing opinion.  Maybe people like you should stay out of CVON and just DM with your echo chamber buddies.

Yes, a 30 day old or 3 month old can absolutely live outside of another human's body.

You CONVENIENTLY blame it all on the mother and not the father. Strange.

How convenient, I see. Having Uncle Sam dictate my life decision's.  I'll kindly step aside now Mike.  You have your opinion, and I have mine.  I did truly wonder though how you'd feel if the lawmakers in your state told you what you could do with your D?
