You can be against abortion while also not having the stance that life begins at conception. Having that stance creates a dangerous slippery slope that actually leads to anti-life results. For example, stem cell research leads to treatments that prolongs and saves lives. IVF allows for people to procreate who otherwise aren’t able to naturally. Both of these things wouldn’t be allowed in a society in which the law states that life begins at conception.
