It's funny how they claim not to be racist, and then make everything about race. Calling a black person an Uncle Tom because he doesn't behave in what he thinks is an accepted manner for a person of color. It really doesn't get any more racist than that, imagine thinking you have to act or believe certain things because of your race? WOW just WOW

June 24, 20223 yr Interesting, so I guess the weird bible belt states are less restrictive than liberal Euro countries in regards to abortion.

June 24, 20223 yr Not really keeping track Has it been said to propose an amendment to make it a federal right? Wasn't that why roe v wade was overturned? Forgive me I'm not great on the process

June 24, 20223 yr What about insurance coverage for abortion services. If a citizen travels from Texas, where's it's illegal, and goes to Say Oklahoma where it is legal, and then returns and is arrested for violating Texas law, is Texas then going to hold the insurance adjuster who approved the Benefits criminally liable and charge them as an accessory to Murder?

That was what Mississippi's law while Roe was still the law of the land. With Roe over-ruled, their trigger law will now take effect which bans all abortions except for medical emergencies and in case of rape/incest. There will now be 22 states in the country where abortions are banned, and ten of those states make no exception for rape or incest. THAT'S what people are freaking out about. You should follow more reliable people on twitter...

Forgive me I'm not great on the process Don't need an amendment. Congress could put it into law. Democrats are going to make that their entire mid-term campaign. It'll be interesting to see how effective it is. I'm not as optimistic as I once was. The hope that Kevin McCarthy as speaker of the house will push the magical "cheap gas" button that Pelosi for whatever reason won't push, is going to be the driving factor in the mid-terms for the masses of uninformed voters that decide elections.

If the law is based on sex discrimination and Equal Protection, instead of privacy, how then can the Court say it's decided wrong or Unconstitutional, if it is based on the Constitution, just as RBG suggested.
