Vikings - new offensive head coach, only 1 week of tape to study in one week. Cousins stinks in clutch games but always tears up the Eagles. Jefferson, Thielen, Osborn, Smith and Cook are a pretty good set of skill players. Defense is ? but they have some nice names on the team.

Steelers - its Trubisky/Pickett but still an upgrade over 2021 Roethlisberger, which took them to the playoffs. Tomlin is a good coach who never had a losing season. Still a strong defense. Still pretty good offensive skill players.

Saints -  more of a toss up because of Dennis Allen but they are apparently going all in. Finally have a good set of skill players. Still have a good defense. Going to depend on whose healthy and if Kamara gets any type of suspension. 

I actually think there’s a good chance we lose that game to the Vikings. Cousins is 6-3 against the eagles. And really outside of 2017, he’s 6-1. For whatever reason when he tends to face us he plays really well. I actually think facing them in week 2 is not ideal cause their offense tends to be better when dalvin cook is out there. I’m guessing he makes it through week 1. 

As for the Steelers, i think the eagles win. He Steelers haven’t come into Philadelphia in 5 decades and won. There were better Steelers teams that lost to worse eagles teams. 2016 being one of those times. The Steelers haven’t come into Philly and won since 1965. I also think if it’s Pickett starting at that point, i think it benefits the eagles where he’s coming into Philadelphia environment. Also it’s their second road game in a row. If it’s trubisky maybe he’s better than what he was in Chicago but i actually just think the eagles roster is better than Steelers especially oline 

I think the saints are a toss up. It’s late in the year. it’s going to be cold in January. Don’t know where both teams will be at that point. Winston is a significant upgrade to what siemian was last time we played them. People forget the saints had 3 turnovers in that game that the eagles converted into 17 points. It really helped bury the saints and deflate them. I think by end of the year they are likely vying for a 6-7 seed in the playoffs and I’d assume Allen gets better throughout. I’ve felt for a while that the saints are going to be better than what people think. The actual roster only has a significant downgrade at LT. They have better playmakers, better QB and even safety is likely better with maye and mathieu. 

i tend to think they go 2-1 or 1-2 in those 3 games.

I'm lurking around in the bizarro blog right now in the 411.  We can make fun of certain people in here all we want (and will continue), but that blog is multiple cards short of a full deck.  I can't tell if they're fighting with each other or not bc the grammar is so horrific.

I have never understood the 411 having its own blog.  Doesn't that violate community rules of topics in the correct forum ??
