Does that mean interviewing OL coaches for QB coach?  RB coach?  What about a DB coach?  That would be something.

@New Zealand Eagle what the hell do you people have going on there?

I wonder how they legally define a "diverse" candidate? Because, legally, it's not as easy as you think.

QB coach makes sense.  Teams tend to hire HC coaches who were former QB coaches or promote to OC former QB coaches.

Obviously safety is atop of everyone’s minds but I see some alarming depth at DE. Wonder if they plan to move Milton there? They are banking on Graham being a full go week 1 at this point with just Sweat, Graham, Barnett, and Tarron Jackson.

And Reddick. Might see some of the DTs slide out there as well.

It absolutely needs to be addressed in the very near future, but we should be okay this season.

Foles agent dropped the ball, backup QB's make $10M per year at least

that's why you draft your backup in the 2nd round.

You get the draft picks for developing the candidate ... when someone else hires them.  It's intended to be compensatory.

Don't you mean "grooming"?

Just remembered Jimmy G is still on the Niners. Wonder if he’s gonna start the season with them or if they eventually trade or release him.

He'd have been traded already if not for his shoulder surgery.  The Niners asking price and his inability to throw a ball until late in training camp have made coming to an agreement on compensation impossible.  I suspect both the Chickens and Panthers have been playing the waiting game, believing the Niners can't carry his salary into the season.

Mayfield is in a similar situation.  It's possible neither gets moved until a starting QB gets injured.

Chickens?

I think I found our next LB

Not sure what this initiative means, not sure how many kiwis other than the one on here are going to watch football over say, rugby.

I think it's been reported that the Eagles now have a DE/OLB room, DL room and ILB room. If you look at the depth at DE/OLB it is Sweat, Barnett, Reddick, Graham, Reddick, Tarron Jackson, Patrick Johnson and Kyron Johnson.  Milton Williams isn't going to rotate out at DE.  I think we will more likely see looks where Williams is one of 3 DT's on the field at once.

Kiwis are New Zealanders.  @downundermike is an Aussie.

Another 14 children killed in a school shooting. Really tired of reading this over and over again.

2 killed, 14 injured is what I'm seeing. Sad nonetheless.

That was the first report.
