Guys, I have some great news:

1.  I just bought a new car

2.  I've hired somebody to own the car for when I'm dead/infirm/don't feel like paying for insurance anymore.  In the meantime he'll be working hard to learn the business side of owning it.

The new hire comes with impeccable qualifications -- he's seen cars before, he was able to identify the steering wheel on the aptitude test, he related a story to me about being run over by a car but how he holds no grudge against the car, and he's extremely innovative -- he's got this idea that the car can be washed .... I haven't decided yet whether I'll steal this idea and patent it, or be ethical and suggest he develop this innovation on his own.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

I think he means the guy from Good Charlotte

I meant John Maddens kid. Gotta keep the nepotism flowing.

If it makes anyone feel any better, Julian will have to pay 40% estate tax when he inherits the Eagles. Probably around 2 billion.

Not to mention the Pennsylvania inheritance tax on top of that.

This is such a cute thing to think.

Julian Lurie is going to blow his inheritance on snorting Adderall and cashmere scarfs.

I really triggered a lot of people with my criticism of the obvious nepotism

And you guys will all be stunned when this doesnt work out.

Its weird how no one stays in our FO.  None of this is connected at all though

Lol you literally are making the point that hes qualified because hes been around the team for so long, Im merely asking what the hell hes been doing.  But you cant answer?

Towel boys and security guards spend tons of time at the facility.  Youre ignoring my main point that this is obvious nepotism and that alone causes problems.

He probably didnt even interview for the position.

Just stop the charade about qualifications and say the truth, thats probably what rubs me the wrong way.  Jeff Luries BS quotes about how "exposed to the business" hes been.  Man shut the hell up, if youre not signing checks or making decisions youre just like a secretary without any real duties.

Youre mad at people assuming he is qualified, yet you cant assume he isnt qualified at the same time. You cant answer your own questions, so youre just gonna have to sit back and relax and enjoy the show like the rest of us and just hope he isnt James Dolan

Hopefully Howie tries to use him as a fall guy and Lurie runs his @ss out of town.

Howie or Julian? 😄😄

I read that they are going to try Julian Lurie out at Safety, if JJAW doesn’t work out.

I’ll try and find the tweet.

Do you know how many coverages he's diagnosed from the sidelines?

Hes been to like 5000 practices

I agree 100% but man the excitement of what it could have been, especially after that game.

I remember Gruden saying during the game on the broadcast "I don't know how you stop this offense" or something like that.

Its obvious hes not qualified because hes never held an actual job for the team.  Has he?

I wonder if Howie and Jeff will pat themselves on the back if Julian goes to another franchise and succeeds?

lol he sticks it to his dad and buys the Commanders with his dad's money

Lurie loves him some nepotism. I find it extremely distasteful.

Yeah.  You’re such an individual.  Can’t believe no one else thought it was a bad idea.  Where have you been with your groundbreaking insight.

Totally agree, I am an individual.

No, give me your company, I'm more qualified

I don't know if I can hand down my business to a guy who can't even bother to put periods at the end of sentences.

In all seriousness, what the heck did the apostrophe do to traumatize you as a child?

Calcaterra’s backstory is a unique one. He stepped away from football after the 2019 season because of multiple concussions. After he left Oklahoma, he worked construction and began to pursue a career as a firefighter

Welcome to April 30th.
