I've mentioned how much I'm a nerd about gear.  DeVonta and AJ Brown in the Schutt F7.  MUCH better look IMO.  Love Schutt helmets.

Honestly can’t wait til they bring back the Kelly green jerseys have some gamers sold through eagles charity auction or fanatics

Who's one player that missed out on Kelly green you wish would have had the chance?

He’s awful. Thanks for the warning.

From the era that wore them or just in eagles history? If it was just the era that wore them I’d love to have a Reggie or Jerome brown. I almost had a Calvin Williams which was more cause i loved throwing to him and Fred Barnett in techmo bowl. If i could get a game worn Fred Barnett jersey that’d be pretty cool.

In general besides the ones i mentioned, I’d love to have a dawk, foles, kelce, Carmichael. If we are talking not obvious I’d love to have a Bobby Taylor or trotter. (I’d love to have bednarik and Tommy too. there was actually a bednarik gamer for sale on Amazon a year ago. It was ridiculously expensive. Like 100k)

i actually have a game used Eric Allen. Only thing that sucks is sometimes back in the day take the nameplate off to apply to an another jersey. This one got beat up pretty bad.

No no..who's an Eagle who's been stuck in midnight green that you would have loved to see in Kelly.

Dawk and mcnabb are the easy answers. I’d put i think Sheldon brown would’ve looked good in Kelly green. I actually think Asante, mikell and runyan woukdve looked good in Kelly green.

It is definitely the gentrified white southern person that maintains an air of civility while being a dick.  There is a genuiness to the civility.  It isn't all a mask to cover duplicitous behavior.  It is just a different way of communicating.  People from the north tend to struggle with it and feel like people are not being direct.  It is really more about custom and I think related to what they viewed as a more hierarchical society.

Being a good Southerner From Texas, I was told during a deposition (in Texas) by a NY attorney that when a Texan says "yes sir” it could have a bit of a threat in it.  I responded, "no sir, what you need to worry about is when a Texan asks if you want to step outside” as I nodded at the door.  For some reason, he treated me more gently during the rest of the deposition. During a break, he said to me that the only entity that was hated more than his client by the "backwards hicks around here” was insurance companies. I told him that my wife had a mess of kin in the community (true) that would take offense to his characterization and that I would just put my Tony Lamas on and fit in just fine with the jury whereas with his NY accent, they’d be looking for a rope and a tall tree.  He told me if it came to trial he would have the Texas attorney his client had associated with try the case.  (We settled so neither of us ever got to test our theory.

Yea, Dawk, McNabb are easy.  TO too.  For me, Hugh Douglas, Trotter, Wentz, Jalen Mills off the top of my head.

I regretted never buying a Celek kelly green that year they had them as alternates.

I happened upon a maclin one at the time, which was nice. But Celek embodied the throwback kind of player that the kelly greens harkened back to. He was the perfect kelly green player.

I think Im going to love Jordan Davis in kelly green. And no doubt, Carson Strong.

He definitely was. I actually have a Todd herremans game used kelly green from that game that came from the eagles.

Thats a good one.

Thinking about rosters since 1995..what a bust Stanley Prichett was.  He was such a versatile FB for the Dolphins.

Eagles have really had quite the collection of FB over the years.

-Prichett never lived up to his hype.

-Kevin Turner was a Swiss Army knife and very solid.

-Thomas Tapeh.  IMO, could have been a big RB with an expanded role.

-Leonard Weaver.  That knee injury ruined him.  He was on his way to big things.

-John Ritchie-  Easy to route for, local guy who was just a good FB.

-Cecil Martin.  Underwhelming but consistent.

-Fred McCrary.  One of my sneaky favorite Eagles growing up.

-Owen Schmidt.  Another Ritchie like FB who was easy to route for.  Throwback player.

I know I'm probably missing a few.

Haven't thought about Owen Schmitt in years, but I associate him more with likely brain damage than I do his Eagles run.

And yes, I do have an answer to his stupid question just like Ill always have a response for the stupid, misguided points you're making

If it was my son I wouldnt create a position for him out of thin air.  I would make him go through a similar career progression as othera in his profession, not skip the line because daddy is the boss

I am firing my COO tomorrow and putting my 11 year old in the seat just to spite you.

Honest question.  Do people really see these awareness color changes and think it’s going to do something?  The NFL was on the cutting edge by pushing Breast Cancer Awareness 20 years ago but now it just seems like awareness overload.   Not taking anything away from current issues but everyday we’re being told to be aware of some cause.   You watch TV and it seems every commercial is awareness. Last month was AAPI awareness. This month is Carribean American Awareness month. I think awareness has become political agenda and a way to virtue signal rather than trying to help certain causes.

Morning social media rant over.  Hopefully we get some OTA updates today.

Nope, Nick Foles

Don’t forget the Rangers

Agony.

Flyers: let's have a roster of slow, lumbering forwards in a league built on speed.

Sixers: let's have a center focused offense in a league built on perimeter ball movement and shooting.

Eagles: let's have a running QB in a passing league.

Phillies: let's have a crap bullpen in a league where starters only go 5-6 innings.

It's like Philadelphia is stuck in the 70s.

Dan Klecko got some reps there.  And don't forget about the defensive player they converted...  Josh Parry

BTW.... the word is 'root', not 'route'.
