I think it's one thing if some journalist says something like what he said.  It's meaningless when it's some kid on Twitter.  Of course, a 17 year old is going to say dumb things.  It's not like his tweet in any way represents anything other than a dumb thought.

Dak is a great example of a QB Hurts will never be, while Tyrod is a pretty good comparison.  The best comparison was, is, and will remain a certain white QB though.

Having racial bias, potentially in player comparisons, isn't the same as racism. I think Dak and Tyrod Taylor are similar to Hurts.  Dak is less so but he does have limited arm strength and issues in his throwing motion.  Racism, to the extent journalists can be racist, would be espousing thoughts that Hurts be a starting QB or is otherwise limited because of his race.  Of course your criticism begs the question. 

Who do you think are better comparisons for Hurts in terms of players currently in the League?
