"Frankly,” NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith said in 2019, "I think players should never do anything for free.”

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has been one of the most vocal critics of the offseason format. In an NFLPA video call during the 2021 offseason, Brady reportedly lashed out.

"One thing I’ve learned in business is what you do for free, someone will never pay you for,” he said, according to the Boston Globe. "And just because we’ve had offseasons the way we’ve had for 20-plus years doesn’t mean that’s the best thing for the health and well-being of the players.”

I think that's fair.  The counterpoint is that working out in an offseason program does give the player more protection if they're injured.

Not at all.  Reading the lyrics to that song, which talks about cutting off a man's d**k so he can't F, or that fact that she refers to herself as a C-E-HO and hearing that the word spaz was the issue is what stands out to me.

I'm sure every person around the world has a word that has a different impact on them.  I have ADHD, have had it my whole life.  People are trying to say that phrase is offensive.  I don't care one bit what it's called or how it's used.

It's OK to continually make fun of the Irish though.

Shut up you ****.

Every day words are offensive to someone, somewhere. And please don't use the term America or American. https://collegian.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Inclusive-Language-Guide_10_30_18.pdf

I've died on the Carson is a top 15QB and flirts with being a top 10 guy.

This is the best Redskins qb they've had in years.

This is the best offensive weapons Wentz has ever had and there Skins' defense is pretty good.

then you look at the schedule... they have the Jags, Lions, Giants Twice, they're probably gonna split with the Eagles, Bears, Texans, Falcons.

Feel like if they show up on time theyre gonna get 10 wins

The NFC is also weak in general.

NFC South- TB has Brady and speed on defense but I think they've take a step back this year.  ATL, bottom 5 team,  Carolina, young team.  NO, probably an 8 win team

NFC West-  Seattle took a step back.  SF is explosive but Jimmy G holds them back.  LA Rams, top team in the NFC.  Arizona is the Philly of the NFC West.

NFC Central- Chicago isn't it.  Detroit has young talent but nope.  Vikings are what they always are.  GB determines how they replace their weapons.  Probably 2nd best in NFC.

NFC East-  Washington, IMO is the best team.  Dallas and Philly are neck and neck for that 9 win, WC team.  NYG improved but still the bottom of the division.

Washington isn't beating any team from the AFC if they make it, but the road to the SB in the NFC is miles easier than the AFC and is up for grabs.

My thoughts too. Without the collapse the last two games, he would of ranked around the 12-13 range in QBs and this team has way more weapons. I think him and Cole Turner are going to be a problem in the RedZone and it seems the rookie and him were made for each other. That oline just needs to hold up and he will get 30tds. Gibson isn't a slouch either

I think both sides get carried away. The person who was offended by spazz has the right to be offended, and with social media, has the right to express their being offended.

The artist made a choice to apologize. She didn't have to, she could have said, (as a few comedians especially have) if you don't like it, don't listen/watch/consume.

And now both sides get to be "outraged". But it's all so dumb. Who cares that she used the term spazz? Who cares that somebody was offended by it? If you want to use spazz in your everyday language, go for it.

If OTA Jalen Hurts shows up in 2022, the Eagles could be Super Bowl contenders

I don't really get this "Saints are going to stink and give us a top pick" narrative. They were already an ok team and have made win now moves. Major question mark is going to be coaching/Winstons health. I think they are a wildcard team.

Also San Fran is going to the playoffs unless they have a disaster health season. Lance or Jimmy G could easily coast to the playoffs with that team. I also think Vikings will be a bit better than as of late now that Zimmer is gone.

He threw late and behind in the hype videos...atm I wouldn't consider that a SB contending effort

Saints may end up sneaking out 9-10. They were 5-2 with Winston last year and he was at 14tds and was looking the part and had nobody. Now he has all the weapons

Here, I'll make you feel better.

If we had traded for Minkah, it was the pick we passed on Justin Jefferson with to take Jalen Reagor.

I don't think they are going to stink at all.  I think 8 wins is an OK season for them.  Kamara, Thomas, Olave and Mark Ingram are nice to have on offense to eat those W's.  We aren't getting a good pick from them.

The biggest question hanging over the Saints is Kamara, IMO. Does he get 8 games? That's a massive loss. Ingram ain't what he used to be, and while they are getting Thomas back and they drafted Olave, it'll be interesting to see how the offense does without Payton. Dennis Allen and his career 8-28 record as HC isn't exactly inspiring.

That's a lot of money for a safety who had 2int in 17 games last year for a merely above average pass defense.

Landry too. Also already had a solid D and added Mathieu and Maye. Also forgot they added Dalton. He's not good but he's better than Siemian if Winston goes down. I think they are easily an above .500 team.

And they have possibly improved the defense.

DL - Jordan Cameron, David Onyemata, Shy Tuttle, Marcus Davenport

LB - Pete Werner, Demario Davis

DB - Paulson Adebo, Tyrann Mathieu, Marcus Maye, Marshon Lattimore, CJ Gardner Johnson

Yeah. Definitely not going to give us a top five pick. People tend to ignore anyone one else's growth that isn't the birds. Saints may actually blow some people out of the water by half time

forgot about Landry.  Just looking at their roster...I didn't realize former PSU/Oregon WR Juwan Johnson was a TE now at 6-4 231.  Had 4 TD's for them last year.  Pac12 WR to TE transition....hmmm look out for JJAW!

A lot of folks are saying the Eagles have one of the top WR groups in the NFL now but it's not that clear cut.  Plenty of teams in the NFL are 3 deep.  AJ Brown helps but Thomas, Landry and Olave sounds just as nice as Brown, Smith and Watkins.

But are quick to pump them up as this historic defense when it comes to Jalen Hurts beating them.

I just don't think anything is going to come of it. Maybe a few games but you don't hear about it ever and they keep pushing the case back. The cops even let him play in the probowl before bringing him in. Bradham got one game for battery two years later than when the incident occurred. I think it will be similar with Kamara. Either something small or it keeps getting pushed back in court so nothing happens until down the line.
