Dak needed to know the ball has to be given to the official. Had he done that, he just might have spiked it in time. As it was, he was a split second too late.

Dak should have learned that in Pee Wee football. Everyone else did.

Yes, it was the HC that handed the ball to his centre after the play instead of the ref. It was a bad play call, but Dak was very dumb as well. Situation was too big for him, again.

Again, it all comes down to coaching.  You don't call that play at that point with no timeouts.  And if you do then it better be a situation and play that you've practiced enough everyone is on the same page as to how far to go down the field before getting down and then trying to get spike off.

Maybe stick to Canadian Football if you can't comprehend this.

CFL QBs at least know how to hand the football to the ref before the next play starts.

Terrible movies.   First one was overrated.  Others look ridiculous.

You really needed to see it on the big screen in a theater with a great sound system when it first came out to fully understand the hype. Watching on a tv later just wasn't the same.  And it really was a ground breaking movie at the time.  Until then, hollywood's attempts at trying to make dino's look realistic were comical.

Yes, please continue, and go into greater detail. I'm sure you'll convince @4for4EaglesNest to change his mind!

That wasn't a play that Dak drew up in the dirt in the huddle. That was the direct result of terrible coaching.

He ran the play and didn’t get team set in time for another. If it was McCarthy’s call, I think it’s due to the lack of confidence in Dak’s arm.

It was an analytics call for sure. Middle of the field was wide open, he did pick up a nice chunk of yards, and properly slid to get down with 9 seconds left. Should be enough time to hand ball to ref, spike, and get one more shot at the endzone from about the 20 instead of the 40. Of course, all that goes out the window when the QB hands the ball to his C, and has the oline line up to block said ref from even getting to the ball. But yeah, not Dak's fault at all, somehow.

I had a neighbor who saw it and loved it. She said the effects were so good "you couldn’t tell the real dinosaurs from the fake ones.”

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

If there was a championship of Trolling, RTK wouldn't have enough fingers to hold all his rings.

The only appealing thing to that movie in 1993 was Laura Dern's wet t shirt.

Wrong. The enduring image from that movie is:

McCarthy not trusting Dak's arm, clearly racist.

Has the red head in the sequels appeared anywhere with a wet T shirt?

And pigs may fly.  I will believe it when Reagor consistently shows effort on plays where he isn’t the target.  Wonder how many of those he ran in OTAs.

What we don't know is what he has been doing away from social media, etc. I take it with the usual should shrug around Reagor, but perhaps seeing other people come in has chastened him a touch. At this point, he's a 5th receiver, so it's up to him change that.

Thank god Al Gore invented the internet otherwise no one would have access to Adam Caplan's invention.

I don't recall that, but I do tune him out at times.

But it reminds of a similar type of over here who claimed he was advised to get into something niche called podcasting in 2020 and took them mainstream all by himself.
