I'll meet you guys in person, trade insults, drink a beer together. If Hurts throws for 4000 yards, I'll buy a round at Chicky and Pete's. Otherwise, you buy a round. 4000 yards too steep? Pick the success criteria.
July 20, 20223 yr Unheralded player to surprise: Gardner Minshew He played well with scraps against the Dallas starters. While Hurts has a few good games from the talent around him, he will falter. Minshew is still hungry and reportedly asked Sirianni "How do I start?". Still hoping Hurts ends up being Russell Wilson, but who knows. Solid player that takes the next step towards high end/stardom: Dallas Goedert With Jalen Hurts mostly being scripted, lots of passes will go to a wide open Goedert. I know he's already highly ranked, but I think the stats will be more eye-popping. Established player that disappoints: Fletcher Cox / James Bradberry Couldn't choose between the two. The question is mostly about expectation. Obviously, Cox is not what he used to be, but still may shock people with the next slide. Bradberry I think is also beginning his slide due to age. I think both end up still being solid, but not the stars we hope. However, our DTs will step up more for Cox, so the edge goes to Bradberry. Most improved 2nd year player: Kenneth Gainwell Was also thinking Milton Williams, but I've been watching his rookie highlights. He hits the hole quick, sets up defenders from the backfield, has great vision, feel for leverage, really good speed. Reliable in the pass game and a good route runner. I think he breaks some for the house this year. I think Milton's improvement gets lost in the shuffle a little bit, making Gainwell's more obvious. Dickerson was already a star by Week 17 to me, so in a good way, he doesn't count to me. I think there's not much more Devonta Smith can improve on, really; with a competent QB, he's a consistent 1200+ yard receiver. Player from the last 2 drafts that disappoints: Jalen Hurts / Zech McPhearson Another question that involves expectations. I'm not getting my hopes up about Hurts. He's supposed to take a massive leap and they are still working on throwing mechanics. However, McPhearson was being lauded as a jack of all trades type CB, possible heir apparent. I think he fails to live up to the billing because every NFL player has a strength in something, and will use it against him. He will not be as good against that something because he's a generalist. Serviceable CB4, but not a cusper for a starting position.

Granted, trading McNabb was the right move, but to use the collateral on your franchises best (can be argued) QB of all time on a reach at safety...woof. Some good talent was taken after him in the 2nd round. Gronk, Golden Tate, Sean Lee, Lamarr Houston, Carlos Dunlap, Linval Joseph to name a few. Allen wasn't a reach. He was widely regarded as a fringe 1st rounder that draft and was a heckuva prospect coming out. You have to remember post JJ era for safety was a death sentence for anyone on this D.

July 20, 20223 yr Alright...question for the dog days of the offseason. Give a name for each of the following: Unheralded player to surprise: Kyzir White. I think he’s already a better player than he’s given credit for. Solid player that takes the next step towards high end/stardom: I think Goedert will get tons of opportunity because of who the QB is. Established player that disappoints: Bradberry. Just feel he’s a bit overrated as is. Most improved 2nd year player: My heart wants to say Devonta Smith, but my brain knows that his targets will reduce dramatically with the QB’s best friend on the roster. Milton Williams seems like a good candidate, but the addition of Jordan Davis will reduce his reps. Imma go with Gainwell, simply because Sanders will get injured and our O-line should be reallly good. Player from the last 2 drafts that disappoints: Jalen Reagor (what do I win?)

July 20, 20223 yr I use PC lots. I have an all in one on the coffee table in the living room. I can kick back on the couch with just a wireless keyboard. That way I have a 24" monitor instead of a little tablet or phone, and much easier typing. Of course I use the phone a lot too but get tons of stupid typos with it.

I'm telling you seeing the skyline, from your seat or the concourse, in an open air or a dome stadium has been done forever. You can see south beach from the Heat Arena seats, same as barclay. (off the top of my head) Now go draw like a 5 year old and stop wasting my time. You continue to not at all understand the concept. You live a meaningless existance. Your time in life is nothing but a waste.

Now go draw some more and let the adults talk Simon. It's not about sitting in your seat and seeing the skyline through an entry tunnel or through the back of a luxary box or whatever you are thinking. You just flat out so not understand the concept. Not sure why it bothers you souch either. Like I said you've moved into a really pathetic area where no matter what ivpsot you're going to piss and moan like a child over it. Get a life.

You have to remember post JJ era for safety was a death sentence for anyone on this D. I remember Allen well from college and the question about him was did he have S instincts necessary for the NFL. (Basically reading, diagnosing and reacting quickly.) The answer was "no” and instincts aren’t necessarily something than can be learned. Hard to train the brain to process more quickly. I have said that T. J. Edwards’ level of football IQ and instincts make up for his lack of speed so that the only real time that lack of speed shows up is in trying to cover deep. Well good speed without S instincts results in bad angles and misses in coverage, which unfortunately was what we say in Allen. Instincts and vision are underrated in player selection and are easier to hide in college. The fact it was so obvious for Allen in his college games was a red flag.
July 20, 20223 yr Giants got the memo. Hate the team but these are gorgeous throwbacks. Again, how the hell did the Eagles bring the 2-helmet rule to the table and then miss the deadline for uniforms. Can't wait for those awesome black helmets.

Where did I say it was the best idea and I've outsmarted people? Why are you so hysterical upset over this? How pathetic is your day to day life exactly? I think it's a really cool concept that would work for the Sixers in Camden for an arena. It would never be done though because it cuts on the number of seats that would be in the arena which means it cuts down on ticket sales for the organization that would own the arena. Youre essentially cutting into the bowl and removing the mid-level and probably upper level seating for that west end to provide the open view of the Skyline across the river while maintaining just the lower bowl seating with a walk in balcony type standing room only section above that. That said though it would be perhaps the most iconic basketball arena in the league due to the in arena view it would offer that no other basketball arena does. Likewise for concerts and any other events there. The views from inside that arena on the TV broadcast would be something else. Imagine you have the Sixers win a closeout game at home and you have the confetti dropping inside while also view from the court and within the stands of fireworks going off outside in front of the nighttime Skyline of the city at the west end of the arena.
